A Kleenex box cover

Kleenex Box covers are easy to do and quick. 2 pieces of colored solid cardstock is cut 9 1/2"x 5 3/4"   S&F at 4 1/2" and 9,  miter tabs and apply 1/2" scortape to the top and side flaps.

Patterned paper is cut  at 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" (cut 4) for the sides of the box.  You'll need one  4  1/2 " x 4 1/2" piece of matching colored cardstock for the top of the box, and a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of patterned paper on the top.

Carefully join the two bases together and adhere patterned paper to the sides and the top. Use an oval die centered on the top piece that fits the opening of the Kleenex box (I used SU Ovals collection framelits die #4)
TIP:  As you assemble and shape the top, place the whole "open box" on top of something square that is longer than the box. It makes it easier to shape and hold the cover perfectly as it dries. This is a COVER for a Kleenex box, and is slightly longer than the box.

This template for the project was created by my friend Clareene. Her blog is In Reene's Room
