Fingerprint Mice

I made a few more cards with the cute sentiment:  "A mouse is small and can go unnoticed, but there is no limit to what a brave heart &  fearless spirit can achieve."
The mice are fingerprints and stamps from  Simon Says Stamp "Fingerprint doodles SSS101750.  The Cheshire Cat is colored in glitter gel pens and gray copic markers, and is from Make it Crafty drawn by  Zoe.  You can see my first cards with these fingerprints HERE

Shamrock Sprite

The new Shamrock Sprite is a gift with purchase this month at Aurora Wings.  I used the Sentiment-DieCut-Ribbon AND the Glitter-Die-Cut-Layers Bingo for this card in the Aurora Wings Challenge #64.  The mat is 5.5 x 2.5 cut with a rectangle mat die, and designed and printed in Photoshop.  The Sentiment:  May the Luck 'O the Irish be With You" was also printed in Photoshop (Boonheur Royale Font) and the sentiment banner sits on top of a organza emerald green ribbon.  The adorable little Sprite is dressed in a dotted swiss organza dress (Posca White Pen and and Nuvo Glimmer paste (clear). The sprite is colored in Prismacolor pencils and accented with wink of stella, and green and white glitter gel pens.  The glitter border is an emerald green glitter sticker.  The inside of the card is die cut matted with an Irish Blessing.

And Dances With the DAFFODILS

For a sweet gal who has a March Birthday---these white embossed on vellum and painted daffodils come from a set of flowers that is more than 10 years old.  I no longer know the manufacturer of these clear stamps.  They are coming through an oval stitched mats dieset by Lil Inker.  The woven mat is from a really beautiful set of  "woven" embossing folders by  We R. Memory Keepers run on Wisteria Wonder (SU) paper.  The Silver Happy  Birthday sentiment is as sticker from Pop Ups Etc. and the lavender gingham ribbon is from my stash.

I WANDERED LONELY AS A CLOUD
By William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Butterfly Confetti_Hero Arts

These cards feature new Butterfly Confetti die by Hero Arts.    One is a see through card with top watercolor and gold artwork, (Sticker from Pop Ups Etc) and the other is using the Happiness Butterfly Stamp, Lacy Squares (Spellbinders S-4295) and butterflies cut out of Stampin Up Mint Macaron Glitter Paper using Les Papillons by Spallbinders S-4315. Before I removed the confetti from the die, I sponged the butterflies lightly with Mint Macaron and then inlaid a few of them.  I used tiny pearl accents to complete the bottom card

Sentiment (Impression Obsession rubber stamp)  reads
"Happiness is like a butterfly:
The more you chase it, the more it will elude you,
but turn your attention to other things
and it will sit softly on your shoulder.

Ornament Girls Club_ Ornament #28 for St. Patrick's Day

I could hardly wait when I got the notification the this month's Club Kit had shipped.  With A PHENOMENAL video tutorial for gaining perfect measurements, that came with the E book this time---I was thrilled to complete the project without a boo boo this time.   Thank you Staci Lowry for the plesure that being an Ornament Girl brings me.

Aurora Wings Birthday Sprite

I absolutely LOVE this little Cupcake Sprite and have created cards with her many many times.  This is the first time I have placed her behind raised acetate--because the surface of the artpiece is quite fragile.  This card was made for Challenge #64 at Aurora Wings Challenge  This month it is a "Bingo Challenge"  My Bingo "win" is the center vertical column, containing glitter, die cuts and layers.  The Card is created on pink cardstock an with a light pink mat that has been embossed with Iridiscent glitter EP through the negative side of the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder by Provocraft (37113).   And you can see not one drop of the glitter background in this photograph.  The die I used was one of Lil Inker's Stitched Ovals

  Detail

The Sprite is colored in Prismacolor pencils, and accented with! !!!  Glitter Snow, Glimmer paste, cut up sequin bits, Nuvo crystal and glitter drops, glimmer gel pens, 3 D crystal glaze, and Wink of Stella (white and clear)  The cupcake paper is silver and white Wink of Stella and Silver Glimmer paste.  Sequins are from a couple of collections in my stash, but are almost always from Pretty Pink Posh collections.

When I printed this sprite, I printed an almost "no line" of the cupcake, leaving the black artist drawn lines for the face and head of the little sprite.  This way the frosting and the cupcake itself is very transparent and detail is acthieved with the pencils and gel pens or Wink of Stella.

Irish Blessings

This 5x5 topfold card uses the adorable Leprechaun from Aurora  Wings   The card is created for the Aurora Wings Challenge #63   Mid Chanllenge Anything Goes Inspiration.  The lucky little Leprechaun is colored in Prisma Color pencils, with  Brilliance Galaxy Gold Ink waterbrushed over his pot.  The coins are tiny gold beads, microbeads, (and wink of stella gold brushing) The other accents are embellished with 3DCrystal Glaze  The Irish Blessing is Create with TLC.  The doily is from a local restaurant.  It's supposed to be "Irish Lace!

May the Road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Sewn With Love

The new Alte New "Sewn With Love" Stamp and Die set was the basis for this really spectacular card.  I used a combination of SU and Hero Arts inks and a green and pink ombre ribbon for this card.  As with All Alte New multilayer stamping the detail is a little tricky if you stamp first.  Next time I will pierce first and then it should be a lot easier to exactly position the stamps. Papers are Blushing Bride and Card base is Cucumber Crush (SU)

Results on the second card were better.
This time I die cut the holes first, then positioned the stamps on top of them.
A better match, and a prettier card!  Accented with Prity Pink Posh Hearts.

The Good Luck Clover Pixie

This adorable pixie is colored up for St. Patricks Day, but she's really a Good Luck Clover Pixie, not a little Shamrock princess! This is a double deep window cut with Dotted Frames die, on paper prepared and created in Photoshop for the project which is edge with green glitter liine stickers from Pop Ups Etc.  The glitter paper four leaf clovers are punched from a Tim Holtz Punch.  She is worked in Prismacolor Pencils and with Glitter Gel Pens for the Aurora Wings Challenge #63 (Anythings Goes)

Project notes;  Doubled-deep mounting tape cannot be cut on a paper cutter to size.  I started out planning this to be a shaker card with Pink Posh' Lucky Sequins collection, BUT worked OUT of sequence, and adhered the back firmly to the artpiece before I put the sequins in.  This was a "Happy Accident" though, becaause there is so much detail in this little Pixie, and sequins would have been a very poor choice for this window card.

Smile Shaker Options

This is an inlay using the Smile Shaker die from Pretty Pink Posh, and a stamp from Maya stampset.   The smile cut out cut from the background for the inlay is used in the card below; the background is  created with distrss oxide ink spritzed with Sparkle spritzer. The inlay is cut from white photopaper.

The Negative space of the cutout in the card above is a shaker top for "confetti" paper below.   The sentiment is photoshopped in, but I think it is going to be white embossing on acetate below the bow.  It will be whatever is right for the recipient.  Smile--"Things will get better"   "It's your Birthday" "You Won"  "You Did it!"  "or a scripty saying that suits the recipient.  This is double stacked orange fun foam behind the diecut, and organza ribbon with DP on Tangelo Twist (SU)  and the shaker part is raised, not recessed.

This is a 4.25 x 4.25 shaker card that is see through to the inside background (double window).  All layers are touched with three colors of distress oxide. See Here for more info

Puppy kisses

I used the puppy kisses stampset by ArtImpressions for this get well card with Watermelon Wonder DP on Very Vanilla (SU).  We hope that you heal quickly from your terrible fall and all those broken bones you suffered.  Thinking of you and hoping you won't be out of commission long, Susan.

Shaker Variations

I am beginning to prepare for a workshop I am going to teach on creating Shaker Cards.   This first Card uses Pretty Pink Posh  "Hummingbird Thanks" dies and stampset,  and window frames dieset.  The hummers are colored with "Liquid Metals" by  Ken Oliver and Wink of Stella and stickles. Enamel dots, rhinestones and sequins finish the card.  The DP and Watermelon Wonder card base is from SU.

Still using the  WindowFrames dieset from Pretty Pink Posh, this card uses the negative of the card above and lawn fawn Scripty sayings embossed in Watermelon Wonder ink on Very Vanilla.  Butterfly is from my stash, but I may diecut another one to place there instead.  (Note to self. Don't forget anti-static pad on both the background AND lightly on the window.)

This is a see-through double window shaker.  Lots of fun to make.  the front sentiment is a graphic by Karen Schulz, and the inside is a sentiment circle by Paulette at TLCCreations, sized fussy cut, and printed on photo paper.  The four leaf clover is a Tim Holtz shamrock punch of green paper that has been brushed with green wink of stella.

This is the example card for the Sun City Papers N Pixels Paper Crafters Workshop.
 February 16th, 2018
Products used:  Graphics (various sources), Window Shaker Die (PPP), acetate,  Tim Holtz Four Leaf  Clover punch, rhinestones, holographic line stickers (Pop Ups Etc) Fun Foam, Scor-Tape, Wink of Stella, patterned paper (created in Photoshop), Dot Tape Runner, (Kukyuo), On Point glue (Imagine), foils and other stash papers for punching.

Dainty Tulle Window and sentiment inside the shaker printed on glossy paper "May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun, and find your shoulder to light on."  DP from stash, butterfly is diecut from Spellbinder 315 Les Papillons.

This Valentine Shaker was created with SU designer paper and Real Red Cardstock, for my Husband.  The lines and tiny hearts are stickers from Pop Up Etc, and the small heart in the corner is Embosslits (SU) hearts.  The frame is a double stitched diecut, trimmed to be a frame. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Happy Everything, Black Heat Embossed.

This shaker variations uses two pieces of tulle for a see through window.  The card base is Pacific Point blue, and the window frame is white, both are cut simultaneously from Spellbinder's 55-090 (Romantic Rectangles Etched Dies)  Sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The fish are stamped on light blue with the Hero ARts Layered Fish Stampset using distress oxide, and glimmer pens with a touch of black sharpie detail.

This card uses the  Count My Blessings stamp (clear embossed  Tip Top  Taupe SU) on the Window Shaker diecut  is placed on the edge and pocketed with tulle.  The Flowers are all painted with Ken Olivers Liquid Metals paint and they are flower stidker outlines from Pop Ups Etc.  Almost all my sequins come from Pretty Pink Posh.
