I absolutely LOVE this little Cupcake Sprite and have created cards with her many many times. This is the first time I have placed her behind raised acetate--because the surface of the artpiece is quite fragile. This card was made for Challenge #64 at Aurora Wings Challenge This month it is a "Bingo Challenge" My Bingo "win" is the center vertical column, containing glitter, die cuts and layers. The Card is created on pink cardstock an with a light pink mat that has been embossed with Iridiscent glitter EP through the negative side of the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder by Provocraft (37113). And you can see not one drop of the glitter background in this photograph. The die I used was one of Lil Inker's Stitched Ovals
Detail
When I printed this sprite, I printed an almost "no line" of the cupcake, leaving the black artist drawn lines for the face and head of the little sprite. This way the frosting and the cupcake itself is very transparent and detail is acthieved with the pencils and gel pens or Wink of Stella.
EEEK! This is just YUMMY, Priss! Cupcake Sprite looks good enough to eat and I love the texture you've added. The embossing folder is just perfect for the sweet image and I was able to enlarge the photo on my screen to see the pretty glitter detail. Thanks so much for playing Bingo with us at Aurora Wings. xxD
