Thinking of You

This card is created using Waffle Flower "Iris You" with coloring done with Prismacolor pencils over Copic Markers, and all brushed with Wink of Stella (clear)  The You are on my mind sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's Iris stampset and the inside sentiment :"Wishing you happiness today and every day is from Penny Black's sentiment collection (30-350) polymer stampset."  The inside background is embossed with a Carabelle embossing folder

In this card the Irises are not a cutaway, they are mounted on a green card front and trimmed.  The embossing folder is "weathered" and the card is entirely done in Prismacolor Pencils.

Flip Lid Cube Boxes

The flip top box was inspired by Mixed Up Craft (Paper Crafting with a Twist) Tutorial for Flip Lid Boxes  When I saw the box my friend Clar made in Reene's Room, I had to try it.This box was constructed of Neenah white heavy (110#) cardstock stamped with pawprints found in the AIG Doggy Kisses stampset.  The grass is from Thorntree dieset.  Real Red paper and matching ribbon complete the cube. Sentiment on bottom of box reads "Wishing you a Happy Day and a Happy Heart!" and is from a Penny Black stampset "Happy Thoughts."  The project creates a roomy 3 1/2" cube, eough room for a candle, treats, or a little gift.

My cousin took this picture of this wonderful hollowed log while they were plowing one of the Kansas Wheatfields.  I tucked a couple of little gnomes into the log --and had fun making this card for him.  All done in Photoshop

You've Been On My Mind Wreaths

These wreaths are created with Hero Arts Confetti Butterflies Fancy Dies.  I prepared four different distress oxide color families sponged on Neenah 100# cardstock before I diecut with the Confetti Die. I also used some Spellbinders flowers, some mulberry paper flowers, a couple of different swirls and a couple of different green die cut leaves.  The wreaths were cut from two circular dies..the outer one a scalloped border that you can't see-- and glued them on the base flat... I used my Hotfix rhinestone tool applicator my BF gave me for my birthday to set beautiful swarovski jewels on the butterflies and flowers.  The background is SSS Stitched Whirl Background, and the card bases are SU papers.  I created the sentiment in Photoshop and hand cut the banners and flags.

This one is all butterflies, I dry embossed the confetti die background for the background.  The big butterflies are from Colette Butterfly Branch by Memory Box.
