Happy Birthday Bruce

This card was created with the Concord&9th Leaves turnabout stamp and coordinating Thankful Leaves dies.  The Sentiment is a sticker from Pop-Ups Etc, and the papers are SU copper foil, and Close to Cocoa brown cardstock, the orange mat for the leaf is from Gina K's Stitched Leaves kit.  Little autumn rhinestones complete the card.
The inside sentiment for this card, which was made for my friend and my computer consultant's birthday---is handwritten on a "top note".  "Ever notice that the older we get the more we are like computes.  We start out with lots of memory and drive, then we become outdated, crash at odd moments acquire errors in our systems and have to have our parts replaced.  Wishing you the most wonderful 76th, my friend"

Concord&9th Turnabout Butterflies

This butterfly card is created with Concord & 9th's Butterfly Turnabout stamp.  The inks I used are Distress and Distress Oxides. The card is for a friend who took a terrible fall and is recovering.  The "hope it won't take long to recover" stamped sentiment (inside a heart) comes from Art Impressions Doggy Kisses Stampset. The diecut butterfly is from Butterfly Branch by Memory Box.  The card is matted with Dapper Denim (SU) and Core d' nations beige paper on a very vanilla card base.  The design for the layered tag and for the card itself was inspired by  Jennifer Mc Guire in her video "Turnabout Tips and  Tricks>

Sending Love

This card is absolutely GORGEOUS!  Inspired by Sandi MacIver's tutorial for using Penny Black new "Harmony" stamp. This is watercolored with several different kinds of brush stroked watercolor pens, and fussy cut over a background texture embossed with Carabelle studio "Guirlandes" EF.  The little pierced square was created with Spellbinders SCD-008 Pierced squares dieset.  The flowers are embellished with wink of stella near the center, and the little accent pearls are Liquid Copper Pearls.  The sentiment is white embossed on black shimmer paper and is from Alte New stampset "I LOVE YOU" which is a magnificent cross stitched multi layered rose.  I have another one colored and am waiting for the Pinkfresh Studio Pretty frames 2 dies to get here.  Sandi's current web address for her  UTube tutorial for this Card is HERE

Fish Outta Water

Feel Like--a Fish out of Water? ---just keep Swimming.  The card is created with Hero Arts Layering Koi, and an undersea background created in Photoshop.  Of course Nuvo glimmer pen, Nuvo bubble dots, and highlights are brushed here and there.
The card is for my Nephew almost up to his very last round of chemo!  WTG Stuart! JUST KEEP SWIMMING--you got this now!

To Welcome a Baby Girl

This card was inspired by the wonderful tutorial by Donna Kauffman ---one of her "Drop-Ins" Cards.  You can see the tutorial for this Drop-In on her UTube Channel
The papers are from a collection dating to 2014 that was offered by Kaiser Kraft Pitter Patter Collection, "Bundle of Joy"   I built this folio type album card from high quality file folder cardstock and added embellishments from the cutouts.  The elephant is by Trina Clark Walker, and is now unavailable. All burnishing and edging was done with SU Blushing Bride. The edges of the card all around and all pages pages are brushed with Nuvo glimmer pen. The small tags were made with a Marvy Uchida punch and the top of the photo folio is cut with Spellbinders Labels 20 (which I promptly lost!--and shall find again!--Did ---I had placed it on the wrong mag board when I put it away.) The baby is due in September and when she arrives her mother will have a card and gift from me where she can save some of her first pictures and memories as she welcomes her little one.

Simplified Center Step

These cards are inspired by scrimpinmommy Amanda Charlesworth of the UK.  This card is created on shimmery black cardstock and covered with spider DP from my stash (I do NOT know the origin) The center little easel slide has one of the cards from Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland collection, and one of the stickers from the same collection popped up to become a stopper. The spider is a Jolene sticker.

This center step has copper, gold glitter and gold foil leaves diecut from Spellbinders Leaves S2-199 The tan paper is core-de-nations distressable paper and the plaid accent paper is  printed on Photo Paper and comes from Karen Schulz digital scrapbooking kit "Nature Hike" --digital paper 15. I plan to stamp some tiny autumn leaves on the side panels but I have misplaced the  Gina K stamp I am looking for

This Simplified Center Step is created using SU Cherry  Cobble mattes on vanilla cardstock, with DPStips cut from Shades of Autumn by Reminisce from my stash.  The word tags are from Sound of Sutum by Ciao Bella in the A4  Creative pad.  The leaves are from Stitched leaves by Gina K and are embossed Canson Watercolor paper with Gold, Copper and Black EP and colored with Marvy Le Plume watercolor pens.

Graphic 45 Journal-Travel album with Notebooks

This Journal Photo Album was created with Graphic 45 Papers from the "Bloom" and the "Flutter" collections, 2019

The album base was created with Sizzix Scoreboards XL die cutting medium weight chipboard

The greatest feature about this album is that the three inside notebooks are created with large Graphic 45 tags, and the little folders they create are removable (from their elastic cording binding) so each picture album may have a slightly different theme and may be shared separately.  Each notebook has tags and pockets, waterfalls and bands galore for a variety of ways the recipient can display their pictures.  I have added white "place your photo here" mats which are NOT adhered to the pages.  Each mat has the appropriate sizing marked on the mat for ease of use.

 The Journal's back.
The Journal is closed with a sheer seam binding tie.
