Graduation Congratulations

To accomplish GREAT things
we must not only
act but also DREAM,
not only plan
but also
BELIEVE
Take pride in how far you’ve come

Have faith in how far you can go
And Don’t forget to
enjoy the
JOURNEY!
Wherever you go, Andrew,
GO
With all your heart.

This is called a Spanner Panel Card.  Panels are cut with a clear piece of acrylic across them, and embellishments (and or sentiments) are placed on the bridge span.  The card flips open to a top fold mini panel that opens to the main greeting of the card.  Fun to make, this card was inspired by Lisa Curcio at Lisa's Stamp Studio The mortarboard and diploma are from Graduation DieSet B556 by Cheery Lynn Designs.

For Georgia's Graduation Present, we bought her new tires for the Kia car that we bought her when she graduated from High School.  This is the outside of that card.  Michelin man from internet and paper from Melanie Britt Digitals at her Esty store. The Cap's border was in my files and I have no idea who designed that frame.  This is the outside of her card.

 And this is the inside

                                                              On the highway of life,
                                                              Be ever watchful,
                                                              Be ever careful,
                                                              Be ever attentive!
                                                              Drive slowly. Drive safely.

Papers N Pixels--final meeting of Spring, 2021

Seven of us were still in town to meet to create some Origami Flip open Treat Boxes, some Curved Arch Cards, and lovely Gate fold cards.  All of the projects that I included in participant's workshop kits can be seen in the THIS POST on my projects blog, with credits to the creators of the projects we tried.
