A Personal Photo Card

The card was created using Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen's Christmas Kit "Sweet Christmas" The sentiment reads "Whatever is beautiful, Whatever is meaningful, Whatever brings you happiness, May it be yours this Holiday Season and throughout the New Year."  The inside is a recent picture of us, worked into one of the frames in the Sweet Christmas Kit.  Note to self:  It's very nice if you save it where you can find it so you don't have to totally recreate the card when you need to print more!  LOL

A Shaker window

O how easy---and HOW MUCH fun to make a Shaker Card that REALLY works perfectly. This one has a pocket for a gift or gift card, or envelope which is on a tag I made that fits inside the shaker pocket.  The die is by Lindsey Serata and is Sizzix Thinlits 661851 (from Scrapbook.com).  The Papers are from my stash except the Pearl cardstock which is one of the Stardream metallics (Amazon). The little foxy Christmas sticker is out of the packaging, but I got them at Michaels.

Owlets Study Pals

It is very close to finals week at UCSB, so I sent my DGD some little owl pillow boxes that she can share with some of her sorority sisters after she puts Ghirdelli Squares in them.  Wishing them good luck, and good grades as they bring the Fall Quarter of 2018 to a close.

They use the retired Lawn Fawn "Give a Hoot" owl dieset which wraps around a 6" long pillow box I made with the Pillow Box punch board by WeR Memory keepers.  I made as many as would fill the flat rate box, and had a wonderful time, putting a little golden key on each owl and adorned them with a glitter holly sticker.

And here they are all put together ready to give to her Kappa Sisters this final day of "dead week"   Finals next week. Good Luck Kappas.  NAIL EM!

Apron Box---Recipe Card Holder

I  made this Apron Box with the Sizzix Bigz Apron die by Lori Whitlock.  The box is made of heavyweight Neenah cardstock with paper printed in Photoshop. The designer paper is by Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen's retired kit Ginger Magic, and is printed on photo paper.  The wooden buttons are from my stash. When I make this apron's pocket, I raise it on foam tape and use it as a recipe card holder.  You can fold in the edges of the pocket and add embellishments like a spoon, cookies and other cooking designs found in "Ginger Magic"  Also in the apron together with a dozen holiday recipes,  is a knitted dish cloth knitted with cotton yarn.  These are wonderful for Kitchen areas--long outlast a sponge and never stink, and can be thrown in the washer anytime you want to freshen it.  Pattern's available here.  See other design ideas here where I used tiny clothes pins as recipe card holders instead ribbon straps (that you can hang these with).

Punch Board Gift Card Holders

These Gift Card Holders with doublepockets inside (one for gift card and one for a note or note card) are created with We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punchboard out of 8x8 paper  (Que Sera Sera by K&Co).   Some are closed with magnets (the Hope you feel special today), but most just close nicely with sharp scored paper folds.  The Just Keep Swimming stamp is from Hero Arts-- Layered fish, and the oragami fish fold pattern may be found HERE  Wiggly eyes and eylashes (flower center punch) are from my stash.  See also the landscape orientstion gift card holder Puppy Sprite

Puppy Sprite--Aurora Wings

This is a Birthday Gift Card Holder created with K&Company  Que Sera Sera 8x8 paper, and made with a We R. Memory Keeper's Envelope Punchboard.  This Puppy Sprite was a Gift with Purchase from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff, Aurora Wings.    It is not for sale.  The birthday tag is made in Photoshop.  The artpiece is colored with prismacolor pencils. The inside double envelope allows space for a giftcard and a little note.

Halloween Treat Box

This adorable treat box with stand is created using Graphic 45 Halloween Wonderland papers, and follows the treat box tutorial by Ginger Ropp of My Sister's Scrapper. This was So much fun to make The treat in this (generous size box) holds two Snack Bars.  I think it would be perfect for Halloween wrapped microwave Popcorn bags too.  Below shows detail of the art piece on the front of the treat box.

The Treat box sits on a little pedestal.  This is made by layering chipboard between matching cardstock and decorating it.  The feet on my little pedestal tray are created by melting pony beads and gluing them on.
