At Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

OVAL
POLKADOTS
VELLUM
This card was created using the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug embossing folder on a white card base, sponged with Peeled Paint Distressing Ink by  Ranger (Tim Holtz).  A Spellbinders single oval was cut, (Spellbinders Classic Ovals S4-112), then a frame using the Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals, (S4-113) which fit the opening.  Backed with green polka dotted paper, the opening is filled with vellum that has been stamped and cut, using a delicate filigree and metallic gold stamp. That's behind some cuts from Memory Box Estate Fence (98285) (Dies are from At Joans Gardens) More ribbon and mulberry paper flowers lightly sponged with the same green are accented with gold "corner" stickers and the Happy Birthday curved sentiment is a sticker (from Pop Up's Etc) complete this card.  I believe that I am going to add four-leaf clover, or shamrock, and give it to a March birthday friend.

At Joans Gardens Challenge #7

Oval
Polka Dots
Vellum

The jury's still out on this one!  The dragonfly is embossed vellum, but on the top one I used black versamark, embossed with clear embossing powder.  The dragonfly is a beautiful stamp by Inkadinkadoo with rich detail.  The black, I thought was too black.  The dragonfly is colored with distress markers (Tim Holtz).   The background polka dot paper is from a paperpack by Colorbok and the sentiment is a digital stamp by Paulette.  The jeweled daisy is a Joleen's embelli, and the background paper for the  front of the card is from a digital kit by Karen Schulz, SnickerdoodleDesignsbyKaren, Dreamin of Daisies. The second dragonfly is inked with  Tim Holtz distress ink, (Peeled Paint) and then worked with styluses on the Pergamano board that I got at Joan's gardens. The black high detail Versafine versamark may work better on regular paper instead of vellum, but I haven't tried it.  Oval is Spellbinder's die, (Classic ovals) available at Joan's Gardens as well as the Distress Markers, and Distress inks by Tim Holtz (peeled paint) and various for the dragonfly colors. Leave a comment and tell me which one you like best, or what you would do with this dragonfly.

At Joans Gardens Challenge #7

Oval
Vellum
Polka Dots

The only piece of paper in my stash that had any polka dots on it was from a  K&Company Christmas paper pack!  And So it became this  Good Luck Card, where I used the  Beautiful Estate Fence  Memory Box Die (98285) to ring a Spellbinders Classic Oval.  The Estate Fence is cut from vellum placed over Shimmer paper. The flowers are from punches finished with Stickles, and with holographic lines stickers (from PopUps Etc). The gold Good Luck sentiment is from Pop Ups Etc.  The Fleur-de-Lis is a Martha Stewart Punch.  Most of these supplies are available at Joan's Gardens.

Oval,
 Polka dots
 Vellum.
This is a side fold shape card using Labels Seventeen (S5-025) by Spellbinders on the blue polka dotted card base, the cardfront and the vellum overlay.  The vellum overlay is embossed with Musical Flourish (Cuttlebug) EF, The oval for the sentiment (from  SU Faith in Nature Stampset) is a Lifestyle Crafts nested oval. After I embossed the vellum I colored the flourishes with Tim Holtz Distress Marker (Tumbled Glass), turned it over and then carefully stippled the negative areas using a stylus and a metal Pergamano Perforating Grid  The Flower  is Marianne Creatibles #LR0250 die where I scotch taped the back, and then pressed in extra fine shimmer powder adhering it to the open areas of the flower. I placed Martha Stewart rhinestones from a blue and purple embellishment set over the glimmered area of the flower. Pearls are by SU. All products except those from Stampin Up are available at Joan's Gardens

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

Vellum, oval, and polka dots is the challenge this week. This card is created with Core-dinations paper by Ranger, and white vellum by Sweet Stamps, dotted with embossing folder Perfect Polka Dots (SU)  The little bear wtih the popsicle is created by Wendy Hall, and is diecut from Spellbinders Lacy Squares (S4-295).  The Fun Times sentiment is created by Paulette, and cut from Scalloped Ovals  Die  Spellbinders s4-113 Classic Scalloped Ovals. I overcut a smooth edged oval punch so only the top of the sentiment had the loops. The bottom edge is punched from a SU edge punch. All of the papers and the Spellbinders dies are available at Joans Gardens.

AT Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

An oval, polka dots and use vellum on a card was the Challenge 7.
For this card I used  Sweet Stamps Parchment Craft Vellum and Sweet  Stamps Pearl Embossing Powder on a  Cling Stamps rubber stamp that I bought in on a trip I made Solvang last November called Heart  Flourishes.  I put the embossed white vellum over white cardstock and adhered it with Scotch vellum tape.  The flowers are from a sticker set of flowers that I don't have the number of anymore.  The holographic gold line edges are stickers is by Starform. My stickers came from Pop-Ups Etc.  I colored the flowers with Tim Holtz distress markers, following El's tutorial, and using high quality water color paper. The thinking of You sticker  is on a Perfect Polka Dot (SU) embossed oval.  (Spellbinders Classic Ovals set) S4-112)   The dies, stickers, vellum, embossing powders, are all available at Joan's  Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

The Challenge this week is oval, vellum and polka dots.  So I have had a wonderful time with new skills that I learned at Joan's Gardens, particularly helpful was her link to videos for using stickers really effectively that Joan presented in her February 18th blog post. In these fantastic videos, Els, demonstrates a bunch of techniques and I used them here.  The sticker is #894 from Starform stickers. ( I got my stickers from PopUpsEtc, The main Easter Lily is worked directly on high quality watercolor paper with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  The stickers on the sides are mounted on vellum (as is the cross) and those are hand cut out and also colored with the Distress Markers. The green paper is glimmermisted with champagne color glimmer mist so it has a pretty (and subtle) sparkle. The sentiment Easter Wishes is from All Holidays Stamp Set (SU) and I heat embossed the sentiment using A La Mode's detail gold embossing Powder.  The background is "Dotted Elegance" Embossing Folder by Craftwell that is a large embossing folder for the E-Bosser, which I also got from At Joan's Gardens.

This card is also for Use Every Stamp Challenge's Blog

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

The challenge this week is polka dots, an oval and vellum.  This card is based on polkadotted blue paper, name of manufacturer was not on it. The owl paper is by Snips and Snails called nighty night (3231). The owl is a  SU stamp from Fox and Friends stamp set.  Happy Graduation and Congratulations are stamped on blue vellum and oval cut. The background of the owl paper looks like polka dots, but it is really stars, so stars cut from the polka dot paper, and from velum and accented with star rhinestones finish the card.  The yellow organza bow is sewn in, and you will see a tutorial I wrote for creating sewn in bows coming up in the March edition of Papers and Pixels Magazine. The ink I used for the owl was by Encore--Ultimate Metallic Copper on photo paper. Circular and oval dies and punches are available at Joan's  Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #7

This week Joan's Challenge is to use vellum paper, an oval and polka dots.

A piece of blue Vellum (The Paper Company ) is embossed with Sizzix 656980 Flourish and Dots EF.  I trimmed the top of the vellum away from the polkadot area and the flourish and adhered it with Scotch brand vellum adhesive (which does not show through vellum) The vellum is burnished with Distress ink (evergreen branch) and adhered over decorative paper which has light green leaves and glittered butterflies from a Colorbok paper pack.  The Vellum Butterfly was first stamped in fine-detail white ink by Sweet Stamps and  using Sweet Stamps #438 stamped onto blue vellum.  Then I worked the butterfly in Pergamano technique and pressed it out using the four-needle Pergamano edging tool.  All those supplies came from At Joan's Gardens.  The teeny butterfly is punched from the same background paper, using Sizzix Embosslits Beautiful wings (SU) and the other butterflies are inside the card  each body using Ranger Silver Pearl Liquid Pearls.  Thank you sentiment is from a clear stamp set from my stash, and it is punched with a scalloped oval punch.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

I just had to try out one more technique for this outdoorsey birthday card challenge this week.  This Gate Fold with Window Tutorial was originally shared by  Norma   and the little precious girl on a branch of flowers is by Wee Stamps. I colored her with a combination of copics and Tim Holtz Distress Markers. The inside birthday sentiment is a SU stamp.   The beautiful paper for this was the  Sun Kiss Collection "Bliss"  by Prima Marketing.  I used cutout butterflies and also butterflies cut from the paper with the SU Beautiful Wings Sizzix Embosslits. The matching flowers (punched from the same paper and accented with Ranger's Stickles (Platinum) were punched with McGill Punch Mini Petals, and then brushed with Distress inks and Distress Markers. The window Die  Cut was Memory Box Drop Ornament (98378).  Almost all of these supplies are available at Joan's Gardens.  Keeping  gate fold cards closed can be challenging  and there are several ways to do that.  For this card, I will tie a matching blue organza ribbon belt around the bottom of the card that will slip away and allow it to open when I mail it.

I want to thank those blog viewers who left me comments.  I so appreciate your taking the time to do that. Thank you for letting me share my passion with you and for letting me grow with your inspiring cards and ideas too.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

Outdoorsy and Birthday, that's the theme.  This card did NOT photograph well, the colors of the watercolor painting are much prettier than is shown, and the paper is a goldenrod (not orange) paper that picks up the color of the yellows in the decorative paper and the image.  The Image is from Phee McFerrell's wonderful collections of images to color, and I was all over the place trying to catch the detail with pencils and gamsol, vellum watercolors, watercolor crayons, and waterbrushed Tim Holtz Distress Markers, ---on Specialty Paper by Ranger. The goldenrod paper is heavily spritzed with  Shimmer Mist, and diecut with Spellbinder's Labels Twenty. The exquisite flourish is Fauntleroy Crest by Memory Box (98222) that I got from Joan's Gardens, as well as the cardstock embossed and cut with the Marianne Designs DS0912 Designables folder also from Joan's Gardens  Inside is the negative frame from the decorator paper and a punched stamped sentiment by SU. The cardstock and edges are burnished with Ranger Distress Ink (Antique Linen) and edged with gold foil pen.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

Outdoorsy suggestion on a Birthday card is this week's challenge. For this challenge I followed a Cutout Window Gate Card Tutorial by Norma.  I used Spellbinders Die  Labels 20 to cut the window, the border (from C&K Papers "Urban" collection) as well as diecut the graphic designed by Mo Manning, colored with washed watercolor technique (Tim Holtz-Ranger) distress markers. These products except the graphic are all available at Joan's Gardens  The card front is accented with organza ribbon, clear diamond Stickles (Ranger), mill hill beads,  rhinestones and plastic and paper flowers from my stash.  Here's where I would absolutely loved to have had on hand nestablings for this set of dies.  The Happy Birthday is a stamp from  SU "Itty Bitty Banners collection. I may go back and lightly edge the window with stickles, but I haven't decided whethre it would overpower the delicate little fairy. So posted without that touch.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

A birthday card that suggests the outdoors is the challenge for this week at Joan's Gardens. This adorable graphic is part of her flower girl series  Flower Power Daffy  ( by Wendy Hall ) Paper is by Pebbles in the Family Ties Collection (Daughter).  The inspiration for this "Twisted Fold" card is from a video-tutoral by Kelly Gettelfinger at Always Stampin.  The folds can create pockets or be closed, and for this card I left the inside pocket open for a gift card.  I will personalize the left side of the inside of the card, but for the photo it simply shows Happy Birthday holographic lettering found at PopUps Etc. The little butterflies are a  Sizzix Sizzlits die and the embellishments are  Ranger Stickles glitter glue and tiny rhinestones.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

This "outdoorsy (vintage feeling)-birthday card" is created using stamps from "Feeling Sentimental" by SU. The papers are coredinations by  Ranger and they are lightly sanded, but not embossed.  The Die base for the card was created with the largest of the "moroccan motifs" a spellbinder die-set available at Joan's Gardens ( S5-065) The gold lettering inside the card is from Pop Ups Etc. The designs are lightly burnished with Distress inks, Antique Linen and China Blue (mixed).Designer paper is by K&Company, square blue rhinestones are by Martha Stewart Crafts, also available at Joan's Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

I was inspired for an "outdoorsy-birthday card" by Paula Huiras inked embossing folder card.  This is the "debossed" side of a Cuttlebug EF, inked with both Ranger Distressing Inks, and Ranger Distress Markers (Forest Moss, Broken China, and Walnut)   Some of the inks are burnished over the surface, and some sit distressed in the grass blades. Inks are available at Joan's Gardens. The sentiment stamp is from SU Elementary Elegance set  stamped over a piece of embossed and then flattened matching paper (one of my swirl flourish folders to suggest the blades of grass.)  The die I used available at Joan's Gardens was Wonky Rectangles (S4-506) by Spellbinders.  I tore (then burnished the torn edges) using a Tim Holtz edge distresser.   The inside of the card has Happy BD tag, and area for personal note.  This card will be for my  son-in-law's upcoming BD. The bird's eye is a little black pearl much smaller than it looks in this photo (it cast a shadow behind it, but it's really teeny.

Birthday Fun

This adorable little fairy was created by Hannah Lynn .  It is a digistamp I printed on photopaper and then worked with Tim Holtz Distress Markers for coloring.  She's diecut from "Romantic Rectangles" Spellbinders S5-090. The Happy Birthday EF is by Cuttlebug (37-1123) and is embossing and sanded on Ranger Core-dinations paper. The pearl accents are are from SU. The closure is a white rivet with a pearl on top. The holographic border striping is from Pop-UpsEtc  This card was created using steps in the tutorial by Laura Boetto found on page 130 of the Papers and Pixels Magazine for  February.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

The Surprise Pop Up card was created following a tutorial by Beate Johns at SCS.  For this birthday card with an outdoor theme, I used Wendy Halls, adorable Egg Fishing digi stamp.  The Oval is by Spellbinders, Scalloped Ovals (S4-113) and the EF was Sizzix 656980 Flourish and Dots, both available at Joan's Gardens.  Sentiment stamps were from SU, and the little birds are sequins.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #6

The challenge this week is to create a  birthday card---with an  outdoor scene/theme.

This is a line drawing from Phee McFadden's coloring page, (Hummer with Elf Friends) colored (first time out) with Tim Holtz Distress Markers!  LONG way to go with these, but actually pretty happy with my first efforts with this new (to me) medium.   I've added "summer" Flower Soft and Ranger's Stickles Diamond accents.  The cardstock is embossed with Sizzix Textured  Impressions 656799 Flower and Vine Twizzle Set, and burnished lightly with Ranger Black Soot Distressing ink.  The die I used for the centerpiece is from the Spellbinder's Labels 17 (S5-025)  These materials are all available at Joan's Gardens. The gold vertical lettering for Happy Birthday is from pop-ups etc.

Blue, white, green, an oval, flower out of patterned paper, hand stamped sentiment...challenge guidelines for this week.
This card stamps Ephesians 5:19 using Out Dail Bread Designs  "Sing to the Lord" series (2009), stamped in Kalaidascope Blue Breeze Ink.  The paper is by Pebbles, and is "daughter" from the Family Ties  Collection. The flower is made from punched shapes from this paper, and textured (with houndstooth embossing folder, and shimmer misted) blue paper from the matting stock.  The leaves are a sizzlit die "Little Leaves" (SU) and the oval is cut from Spellbinder's Classic Ovals collection.  White filigree accents are from B161 Cheery Lynn Designs Lace  Corner  Deco A.  The dies are available at Joan's Gardens

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

This blue, green and white card has a Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder de-bossed on the base layer of the card.  I made the patterned paper in Photoshop, and textured that layer with "Chevron" embossing Folder, by  Sizzix for SU. The ovals are cut from Spellbinders Basic Oval set.  Inking is done with Kaladicolor "Calypso."  The flowers are punched from the patterned paper, dotted with Ranger's Buttercup Liquid Pearls and the hand stamped sentiments inside and on the card front are from Delightful Dozen and from Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU) . The graphic is by Wendy Hall at Digital Delights by Louby Lou.  The dies and Ranger products, and inks are all available at Joan's Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

The challenge this week is blue, green, white card, with a flower created of patterned papers, use of an oval, and a stamped sentiment.
The cardstock is embossed with Sizzix "Carnivale" (657847) and burnished with Forest Moss (Distress ink)
The Marianne Die, (LR-0250) was used to cut the flower and flourish, which I then burnished with the Distress ink and offset over the cut from the die.  These products are available At Joan's Gardens. The flower (and paper under the diecut area) are cut from the same paper, edging the card.  The flower is punched with 2 Recollections punches, and accented with 3D Gloss.  Blue rhinestone flowers accent the border, and the stamped sentiment of a key and thank you from Tiny Tags SU stampset and oval punch.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

The Challenge guidelines this week are:  green, white and blue card, use and oval, create a flower out of patterned paper, and use a stamped sentiment.
For this card,  I have used dark green glimmer paper in a gate fold card.  The decorator paper is Cosmo Cricket's Girl Friday (Tuesday), a reversible print.  The Die is Spellbinders Labels # 18, layered up and worked like a belt buckle gate fold card.  The flourish under the created flower is Macarena Corner, by Memory Box dies.  Stamped sentiment "Cheers" is stamped in Forest Moss Distressing Inks by Tim Holtz.  Dies, papers and Inks for a project like this are all available at Joan's Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

The Challenge this week at Joan's Gardens was to create a card using green, blue and white, to have a flower created out of patterned paper, a stamped sentiment, and an oval.
So for this challenge card the oval was created with Lifestyle Crafts Nesting ovals die, and the window cutout shape and matting was created using Spellbinder's S5-026 Labels 20. I inserted a piece of diecut acrylic for a reflective "window" on this card and edged it with the coarse and sandy white paint in Deco Arts Snow Writer. The flowers and flourish were diecut from Marianne Creatables LR-O250. The paper was Cosmo Cricket's girl Friday (Tuesday decorative papers)  The stamp is from Vintage Verses (SU and it is colored with Distress Markers by Tim Holtz) Background for the piece was embossed with A2Script by The Paper Studio. The border is created with Sizzix Textured Impressions  Adorning Accents embossing folder from SU.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

The challenge this week  is a flower made from a patterned paper, use of an oval, on a blue white and green card.  This flower (and ribbon backing) is created with a piece of C&K paper, punched with a Punch Bunch begonia punch that I got from At Joan's Gardens a very long time ago. Stamens are cut from Build A Flower #1 by  Cheery Lynn. (At Joan's Gardens) Ovals are cut from Lifestyle Crafts oval set.  The stem for the flower is a piece of quilling paper adhered to a strip of cardstock, and the leaf is hand-cut.  The stamped sentiments --"You're Invited and Save the Date" are from (unknown manufacturer in)  a clearstamp set I got at Michaels. Inside is a who-what-where-when-why stamp with blanks for the inviation. I made the "Hello" in Photoshop to match the challenge colors and handcut the sticker. I cut ruled cardstock and punched holes with my Zutter bind-it-all.  The design was inspired by Kim Moreno and found in A Card A Day book published by Paper Crafts.  This is a top-fold card.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

Oh I just love how this challenge card came out.  Challenge is, blue, green and white card, use an oval and a stamped sentiment and a flower on decorated paper..
So!  This one has been scored at the 1/8" line white cardstock mounted on blue textured cardstock, with my indispensable Scor-Pal.  (and also available at Joan's Gardens)  Then a printed paper from a pretty collection by Colorbok (Walmart-61305) scored at the  1/4" and corners cut out, so lime green rhinestones could "round" the corners.  The Oval is cut from the standard small ovals by Spellbinders, (Classic Ovals S4-110) and that is embossed with the Sixxix 656982 Butterfly Migration set of Embossing Folders that I got at Joan's Gardens. That was almost the first embossing folder I ever tried!  The flower is cut from Cheery Lynn Deesigns B161 Lace Corner Deco A, that has been stamped with green Ranger Distressed (peeled paint) ink  with a piece of  a (very old Tin Can Mail stamp pattern. (I used in a previous post here.)   The adorable butterflies are Stampin Up's new "Beautiful Wings"  embosslits by Sizzix, and the ink I used to edge this was Blue Frost by Kaleidacolor.  The Just  Because Stamp is a new Sale-a-Bration SU Vintage Verses stamp.  I highlighted the scored lines and the butterflies with  Clear Diamond Ranger Stickles, and Ranger Distress Markers to match the composition (also available at Joans).

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #5

The Challenge this week is to create a blue, white, and green card, with an oval, and stamped sentiment.
For this card layered MME Moments Paper pad papers, Shimmer Paper embossed with Sizzix Twissle Set (656799) and plain blue cardstock.  I stamped some white cardstock with Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Peeled Paint and Forest Moss) then diecut the Marianne Creatables #LR0250 from the inked paper.  I punched some scalloped edges, and centered them with hand cut white "rose" spiraled up with the quilling tool, and centered with a  lime green rhinestone from a strip of Disney rhinestones.  Those are all adhered to a white SU "topnote" diecut and worked over Simplicity Cluny (embroidered cotton lace trim).  From the green bow suspended on white rayon threads are sewn three punched stamped sentiments, (from SU Ciao Baby set) overstamped (on the leftover distress inked paper) with Kaleidacolor Calypso Greens and blues. Inside of the card has another topnote cutout edged in blue, and using the rest of the Marianne stamped diecut flourishes, and flat rings and open design rings from the punched flower.
NOTE:  The  big oval thank you is INSIDE this card, not on the front of it--just wanted you to know that I complied with the challenge. ...so I put it on the front to photograph for the challenge.

The Ranger products, embossing folders and Marianne Dies (and most of the other supplies) are all available At Joan's Gardens

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

I used Spellbinders Nested Leaves Shapeabilities S4-312 for the matting and the diecut elements on this card. The cutouts are edged in gold foil pen.  Those products are available At Joan's Gardens. The stamp is from SU Delightful dozen, and the adorable little girl dancing on the Robin's wing is from Julie Mead's Vintage Valentine Sweeties (stickers and rub ons) digital kit. The basic card front is embossed with a Cuttlebug flourishes embossing folder. The decorative hearts are little punches.

Split Coast Stampers Zoetrope

This FUN card is created with Spellbinder's Cut-Fold-Tuck Shapeabilities S5114 geo-die.  The medallion spins....how cute is that!  The Paper I used is Recollections Red Small Dots, glossy photo paper embossed with SU Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing folder, and a solid red for the matting, cut from Spellbinder's Labels 18 die set.  The sentiment (done in Photoshop) reads You make my heart spin.  The pulltab is created with SU's Petite Curly Labels punches. This tutorial followed the example shared by Michelle Reynolds Feb 6, 2013

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

This vintage card was so much fun to do!  Layered up on Tim Holtz Distress Collection canvas texture green paper, the core'dinations pink paper is embossed and sanded. I used  Cuttlebug's Musical Flourish folder. The Wonky Rectangles cuts out one of the "Elements of  Style" stamps from  SU, and burnished with Versa Magic Chalk Ink (Spanish  Olive)  I used  Tim Holtz Distress Markers to color this stamp on watercolor paper. The thinking of you sentiment is from pop-ups etc, with Ranger liquid pearls in buttercup among the other embellishments.  Wonky Rectangles is a Spellbinder die (S4-306). The specialty papers, dies, markers, and liquid pearls are available from At Joan's Gardens.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

This vintage card seemed vintage to me because I used the beautiful Cheery Lynn Doily Sophia's Heart, so lacy and delicate.  (DL184) available at Joan's Gardens.  The ribbons, bows, pearls and little flowers are centered over the middle heart in the design, roses from IamRoses.com. The word banner is SU stamp and punch, and the matting is pink glitter paper.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

This heritage challenge card is created with a brush in Photoshop and elements and decorations added graphically from Debb Cozzi's Artisan's Guild Kit "You Matter to Me."  I worked this card in a cameo-coral and champagne color scheme. The photo center is a Photoshop brush on matte paper and is heavily spritzed with champagne color spritzer (Tushinko). The woman could be my mother's twin, so this is a little more meaningful to me than just a vintage photo I found. The coral paper is inked with Ranger Distress inks and embossed with Vintage Wallpaper, a Sizzix embossing folder.  Behind that is a border of organza ribbon over inked and scored border.  The flourishes are stamped with a grey and overstamped with a coral ink, and are cut from diecuts S2-010 Spellbinder's Fantastic Flourish available at Joan's Gardens. These are accented with rhinestones cut from a Recollections (Michaels) flourish pack.  The inside sentiment reads Keep your faith in beautiful things: in the sun when it is hidden,  in the spring when it is gone.  The stamp is from Faith in Nature by SU, as is the little tag that says Happy Day.  They roses are coral tipped and came from I Am Roses.com. I am going to punch teeny butterflies from the coral paper and may add a few scattered over the card.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

The challenge this week is no-restriction Vintage. This card is created from papers and embellishments created by Debb Cozzi in her new kit You Matter to Me, which is a Guild Member kit available at Digital Scrapbook Artisan's Guild.  The vintage lady is a digital brush called Vintage Brush Set 1 by BB. The sentiment is also a brush by N2N called Friendship. The roses are from I am Roses.com.  The little pearl accents are from SU, and the little feathers are from a desert dove. The At Joan's Gardens products I used were the Spellbinder's Die Set Labels 17. and the 3D Crystal Lacquer to bring dimension and transparency to the butterflies.   The entire card was worked in Photoshop  CS6, and then printed and assembled as a card.

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

The challenge this week is a "vintage" style card.
This card is letterpress inked with Chevrons embossing folder, and stamped with "Simply Soft" flower.  It is touched with 3D Crystal Lacquer and the stamens are touched with buttercup yellow Liquid Pearls by Ranger, available from At Joan's Gardens.  The teeny bubble button is created with a punch and stamp from SU, and the ribbon is also a SU product in the color Pool Party) The papers on this accordion fold card are by Colorbok.  Sentiment stamps Its Your Day Happy Birthday--Celebrate,  are loose clear stamps with no manufacturer. And the Flowers for You stamp  is  stamp by Judith (1996).  The little heart (which I changed to an little orange butterfly after I took the picture) is a build a brad center, a SU product.
