SU Small Jump on Holiday Cards

I was working with SU vellum today and got quite a few cards made, one bunch using the Jingle All the Way Dies, and the other the Star  Framelits by SU.  PLUS the Winter Wonderland Vellum, and older vellums I had for projects like these were really fun for a change.  Love the effects of heat embossing beautiful Christmas sentiments, and while I have a LOT of different company's embossing powder, I got the best results today with SU's.  Holographic glitter and gold tickers on the Jingle all the way diecut cards and the holographic border are from PopUps Etc

Young Witch Aurora Wings

This card was created for the Aurora  Wings Challenge for Halloween.    I chose the pretty Young  Witch to celebrate. The matting is Core-di-nations sanded textured core paper, and two designs created by Michelle Roos in her card-crafting kit called Halloween. The border is a gorgeous etched gold satin ribbon from my stash (and I think from Ribbons N Things).  She's colored with Prismacolor pencils on Neenah white paper and fussy cut for mounting and stacking up on this 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch card.   It is created for a small child, so isn't a scary witch or goblin.   The inside sentiment reads:

On Halloween the thing you must do Is pretend that nothing can frighten you.  And if somethin' scares you and you want to run, Just let on like it's Hallowee'n fun

My other coloring for this image is here:

Harvest Elf_Aurora Wings

This gorgeous autumn graphic is from Aurora Wing's fantasy collection.   She is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and finished with Wink of Stella.  The matting is SU blackberry bliss paper, and the edge detail is from the S4-525 Spellbinders Decorative Curved Square dieset.

The second time I colored the Harvest Elf, I framed the final piece in a rich-grained wooden frame for my coffee table.  She is  So sweet, and I am very pleased with the pencilling and the detail of this gorgeous image.

Graveyard Vamp

This is the second card I made with the Destiny Graveyard Vamp  by Faery Ink that I colored with Prismacolor Pencils for Kit and Clowder October Create and Learn Class.  I made a 6 1/2 x 5 1/2 Easel card for this "alternate" coloring color combination suggested by Alyce. The fence in front is cut from Estate Fence, a Memory  Box Die 98285 and the sticker bushes are punched from the Martha Stewart fir branch punch. When open the Boo graphic and the haunted house are created in Photoshop, and the witches boot is diecut from Cottage Cutz  CCP-046

The open card is pasted at the Kit and Clowder Facebook competition this month

Kuick's Sweeties

Here are two more of Ching Chow Kuick's beautiful graphics.  The top one is called Wishing Stars, and is mounted on SU real Red Cardstock and inset in to holographic gold star paper cut ovals (SU Framelits).  Tiny stars are punched from the star border punch (SU)  She is finished with Poca white dot paint accents.

The second card is made with  Ching Chow's adorable Snowflake Angel.  This is behind an acrylic window that is embossed with Sizzix Holly Swirls (657139) and surfaced with silver wink of Stella (like her wings)  Both are worked with Prismacolor Pencils.

Jody Bergsma _Love is the Joy of Life

I am so pleased with my first effort with Jody Bergsma's new Coloring book.  The images are beyond perfection (as all her work is), the paper is magnificent, and my prismacolor pencils brought me pleasure as I did Love is the Joy of Life.  The very very light background is better defined with more subtle colors than show in this photo.  Wink of Stella and Gelly Roll Clear star, touch up each feather in the humer's throats and surround the design in side the artist drawn frame. This is one gorgeous finished piece and will probably go to my framer this week.

Christmas Morning---Art by Miran

This image "Christmas Morning" was created for the  Art by Miran  Anything Goes Challenge. She's done in Prismacolor Pencils, with Posca gold, Wink of  Stella and a foil diecut shape from Spellbinders Borderabilities (S5-180).  She's matted on SU Rich Razzleberry paper that matches her dress. The ornaments are gel-glitter spots stickers. Glitter in 3D crystal glaze gives almost the same brilliance, but these exactly match the artist drawn ornaments on the graphic. See her HERE in a gatefold card.

Kit and Clowder Create and Learn ==Pencils

This graphic, by Faery Ink, is called "Destiny Graveyard Vamp"  She is the graphic for the pencils Create and Learn exercises for Kit and Clowder for October, 2015.  I have colored her with prismacolor pencils, finished the background in Distress Ink Watercolor wash in "black soot and broken china" (and a thin layer of pencil for "resist".  Wink of Stella silver and gold touch the yellows in this drawing.  The flowers are from I Am Roses, and the tiny flourishes (Cheery Lynn B387) are cut from grey and black paper.  Orange, burgundy and black sequins are in the corner's clusters.

Punched Fir Christmas Tree

This sweet and delicate little tree is punched from Martha Stewart "fir branch" punch.  It is created on paper embossed with the Su Holiday Frame, and mounted on green paper from my stash (the same paper the branches are punched from.  Rhinestones, and opaque rhinestones and a silver edged bow finish the card.  The sentiments and a couple of the ornaments are stickers from Pop Ups Etc.  Next iteration will  create a larger tree and head on up into the embossed holiday oval.

All is NOT Lost! Halloween Card

This cardfront was created in Photoshop using papers, elements, and graphics designed by Julie Mead at E-Scape and Scrap.  Most items are from the kit All is Not Lost.  The haunted mansion is the often photographed William Carson mansion in Eureka CA from a photo I took last July.  The card is an easel card with stopper diecut from Spellbinders Fancy Label Tags 4, and an oval punched "boo" (Halloween Spider font).  Other embellishments and Stampin UP Designer paper finish the easel card which will be one of the projects I will be sharing and showing at the Papers N Pixels Club meeting Thursday, Oct 15th.
