Kappa Convention 2018---Photo Wallet Folio

The Wallet Folio I made for my granddaughter
 is inspired by Dawn
And remembers the 72nd Biennial Convention of Kappa Kappa Gamma
held in Denver Colorado in June.

My Granddaughter is the woman in the red dress in the picture of the
9 Kappas and advisers representing Epsilon Psi Chapter at UC Santa Barbara.
The theme of the Convention was " ELEVATE--Invite the Extraordinary"
Please enjoy other photos of this event on my Pssequimages Photopossibilities Blog

As the folio opens the first fold reveals a photo of the six Founders of the Fraternity (1870)
and below that the right side reveals a pocket containing contact cards,
and photo of my granddaughter on "bid day" a year ago.
On the left Kappa Friends at dinner.

As the pocket flap on the right opens there are are photos of my
Granddaughter  holding the Chapter Flag,
and in a photoboard with her with the founders that was available in the
Heritage Hall.

The left side reveal on the backside shows the Charm created by the Fraternity
Jeweler Herff Jones for the Convention, and a photo mats for more pictures.

And under the photo fold out on the right side another page shows one of the dinners during the four
day convention in the hall that seated the over 1200 delegates, alumnae, and  members that attended.
and I  left another mat for her to include pictures of her own.

Sorority Rush Week ends at UCSB this weekend, and the exhausted active chapter will welcome nearly seventy new members into the Greek world at UC Santa Barbara.
"Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization of women which seeks for every member
throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support,
opportunities for self-groth, respect for intellectual and
development and an understanding of and allegiance to positive ethical principles."

Kappa has a total membership of more than 260,000 women, with 140 collegiate
chapters in the US and Canada, and 307 alumnae associeations worldwide.  Kappa Kappa Gamma is a fraternity, due to its founding before the term "sorority" came into use.(1870, at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Ill).
