Easel Box Card

I made this thinking of you/feel better/happy birthday easel box with drawer card using Graphics 45 Precious Poesy Little Darlings Collection paper, a clear stamp from a dollar-bin grab, and Cored-in-ations green paper for the base. The adorable digital stamp is from Whimsey  Stamps  and is Sweet Blossoms designed by  Sylvia Zet at Wee Stamps.  She's colored with colored pencils and treated with Gamsol. The die cut is Labels 17 by  Spellbinders (S5-025) and the basic tutorial was from Digital Delights Tutorials at Louby Lou Designs.   There are a number of these box-drawer tutorials on the Internet; this one uses a band rather than box base and was quick and easy to  put together.  The project was inspired by Feb 24th's idea at Stampelicious Blog

This easel box card below is called Flora Easel Drawer Card and is available from Card Making Downloads.
The Pyramage easel card sits atop a drawer and comes with a matching presentation box. It is embellished with pearls, stickles glitter and SU Perfectly Penned sentiment with Spellbinders Fancy framed Tags Two die.

Beacon of Hope

This beacon of hope card is for a dear friend.  The vertical "gate fold" card uses the lighthouse from Close to My Heart stampset C1499 "Perfect Day" is worked in  a pale gray (pencil gray) and pencil and charcoal on heavy watercolor paper-- and accented with Stickles Platinum rays. The inside is  a lighthouse picture stamped over with the Harriet Beecher Stowe quotation, "Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn." The scripted paper is by Teresa Collins in her World Traveler paper collection.  The way this is folded, when open, it will perch like an easel card on the bottom of the lightouse.

Forever Friends

Karen Schulz of Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen, has come out with a STUNNING new kit called "Forever Friends"  This kit is packed FULL of the most gorgeous elements, word art, and overlays, and it coordinates with some of her previous kits with mind-boggling possibilities.   This card uses the "To have a friend is to have everything" word art Karen has in this kit--- and papers and overlays, text overlay, ribbons, leaves and flowers too.  That's all clustered under pink and white mulberry paper flowers.  The center die is SU's Top Note.  The green borders are cut from a Moroccan Motif's Spellbinders (S5-065) diecut.  That's over a pink paper that's embossed with Sizzix 658285 Dots #5 embossing folder.

Below is a photo-card front, that is entirely created in Photoshop and uses Karen's Forever Friends elements.  LOOK at the detail!  Enjoy the Audrey Hepburn quotation.  "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says "I'm Possible".   Wordart on this cardfront is mine.

Valentines

This top Valentine follows a Splitcoast stamper tutorial written by Laura Lipe.  It was so much fun to make with SU's Itty Bitty Banners (126257, and coordinating die), Perfectly You (131877) and SU's Embosslits Fashionable Hearts.  I also used Hearts #657561 dies by Sizzix to cut the (fantastic) SU glitter paper. Inside on the pop out are various goodies, including SU's Pretty Petites and Petite Pairs stamps. I used white opaque embossing powder on the stamps and edged the card with Starform Transparent glitter-gold sticker edges. I get most of my stickers from Pop-Ups Etc.  Other items are just found things in my stash.

The second card I did uses the Sizzix Framelits #659171 that I got from At Joan's Gardens.  This card uses SU's Tags4U on the inside sentiment, SU's embosslits Fashionable Hearts, and the Sizzix hearts die..and some stickers on the front of the card.  The embossing folder I used was Diagonals by SU (Sizzix).  The designer papers on these are by Doodlebug Designs.

Paper Pom Pom Bows

Creating paper Pom Pom Bows will be the project at the next Papers and Pixels Club meeting in Mesquite.  It will be taught by our member Clar.  This bow was created using decorator (and plain paper) and following a tutorial for creating a Circular Sentiment that is found inside the Digital Scrapper Premier collection of kits and tutorials for February.  The Circular Sentiment is made in Photoshop.  The flourishes I used for the bow are  Madera Corner a Memory Box (98237) die.  I will add some hearts and some glitter accents to this bow before it becomes a package topper

This little box is created (easypeasy) with the  We R MemoryKeepers Envelope Punch Board.  You can run out these little boxes in under a minute! Punch/score fold--glue dots--you're done!  The matching teeny box topper paper pom pom bow was fun for this one.
