You are the Best

This card was created exclusively for the Joan's Touch Challenge this week.  I love fairies, and this week's Challenge #15 at Joan's Touch--that featured a twisted easel card seemed just right for a paper "Flight of  Fancy (#4500290)"  Once Upon a Springtime  Collection by Graphic 45.  The beautiful watercolor fairy is from a  Digital Scrapbooking Kit called Garden Fairies by Christine Ruff at E-Scape and Scrap. The cardfront also features tiny fussy cut butterflies that are in one of the Botanical Tea stamps by Graphic 45.  The detail in these stampsets is absolutely incredible.  And these teeny butterflies fit the little fairy's crown of flowers perfectly. The Core-din-ations paper mat (peach color ) is embossed and sanded, ( a SU embossing folder) then lightly dusted with green chalks.  The twisted easel stop is created with Spellbinders  Dies "Fancy  Tags 3"  (S5-030) and stamped with "You are the Best" from a Just Right Large Fancy Sentiments Stampset.  The edges of the papers are burnished with  Tim Holtz Forest Moss Distress inks . The corners are cut with the "stub" side of a  We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper.  A  tiny butterfly inside is die cut from a SU "beautiful wings" embosslit, and the "stamps inside with fairies on them are from another Graphic 45 paper "Tiny  Treasures" from the Once Upon a  Springtime paper collection.   I made my twisted easel card fit an A5 envelope which is the size I most often work in.  The dimensions for cutting a twisted easel for this size card are 4 1/4 x 9 3/4 (scored at 5   1/2"   As usual the matting and main card front is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.   The Graphic 45 Signature Series core-din-ations sandable, embossable papers, the Graphic 45 papers, the Just Rite Stamps , Tim Holtz inks, and the dies I used are all available at Joan's Gardens
