Thinking of you

I cannot remember who the graphic artist is that drew this girl sitting on a wall.  If you know, please leave a comment below.  I have practiced a few of Alyce Keegan's background techniques, found in her Background Techniques Handbook.  including alcohol fade on copic (the top of the wall)  watercolor wash using both watercolor paint and distress ink over it for the dark black sky.  The image is colored in Prismacolor pencils, which gave me a tiny bit of resist for the background wash.  The sky is touched with stickles "stars" and gold points of light (sticker negatives) from the Thinking of you  Sticker, and points of white ink using a Pentel white pen which I cannot stand. (The ink just absorbs into the paper and doesn't leave a crisp white dot)  The edge of the design uses gold rimmed holographic lines to accent the straight edge of the cutout (scalloped ovals)   the papers are SU Smoky Slate, Basic Gray and Rich Razzleberry.  The mat is embossed with Embossibilities Bricks, and finished with Versamark watermark on the bricks.  Fun techniques to play with.  The colors of the little "cheerleader" are the school colors of my DGD's high school.
