This one is with Cheery Lynn "Sophia's Heart" just fantastic doily. Cuttlebug embossing (dotted Swiss) is blocked into four squares in the background. The greenery is Tropical Flourish by Cheery Lynn.
Build a Flower#1 Cheery Lynn dies creates the rich Clematis flower where I used pearl-glimmermisted paper and glass beads centers. Polka Dotted orange and the purple paper is by SU.
This card shares Stampin UP stamped sentiment found in Language of Friendship #122752, and Cheery Lynn Build A Flower #1 dies. The quotation by Thoreau reads: "The Language of Friendship is not words but meanings." The flower center buds are the delicate small stamens wrapped around 10mm beads, This one is accented with with Tropical Flourish and Marianne Creatable LR0156 die cuts and more pearl wrapped buds. The Hand-stitched border is threaded with DMC Floss (316) and the punch around the page I used for that is by Martha Stewart with lots of little holes to stitch into! This is all mounted on corner punched parchment over ribbon accented white cardbase.
This delicate card does not use the petals of the Build A flower 1, just stamen sets. The delicate butterflies are also Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly DL112 dies. The Pink Lace ribbon Ribbon is by May Art. And I used Spellbinders Label 20, and BuildaFlower1 for this. The patterned word art paper was a scrap.
Stamped sentiment from Stampin Up Butterfly Prints reads: "Love is like a butterfly--it goes where it pleases and pleases where it goes."
And then I went entirely crazy! This card uses only the spikes with pearl accents in the middle. After I diecut the spikey centers, I cut a circle around the area where the spikes were, and then rolled back the little triangles with a quilling tool. I put the spikes back into the "frame":; I glued the center one to glitter paper, punched a hole in that the mat the same size as the circle and mounted the whole thing in an acrylic "treat cup" (Stampin Up) The pastel striped paper has glittered edges along each stripe and a half circle embossed punch punched twice and stamped 'For You', finished this one. They look like little wheels. How cute these would be as a flower cart's wheel. Cheery Lynn Build a Flower #1 and some ribbon made this what you see.
