This side fold card's twisted ribbon design was inspired by Lisa Curcio at Lisa's Stamp Studio Papers are Gold Foil, and Let it Be-- Graphic 45. Flower is punched and silk flower leaves with (melted) pony bead center.

And this one which is a modified vertical gate fold,  uses Twisted Ribbon Technique from Lorraine that originally was on a Facebook Live post.  Papers for this one are   by SU in retired paper packs and macaron cardstock..  The white embossed stamp is from the  Alte New  Collection "Be Happy and SMILE" Sentiment reads "Sometimes you win, Sometimes you Learn"

Below are twisted ribbons done by Kathy---for the PapersNPixels workshop on 7/21/22

Happy Birthday Kathy

This card was created with Papers and ephemera from Faerie Wings and Fairy Dust by Graphic 45. It was inspired by the "Bird House Shape  Card by Lisa Curcio at Lisa's Stamp Studio. The card under an acrylic window reads, "Leave  room in your Garden for the fairies to Dance."   The little fairy house inside came from "Woodlands Village Fairy Houses" at Etsy, The Fairy silhouettes are a couple of several tiny die cut fairies by Poppystamps.

The sentiment on the back reads: "If we could give you only one thing in this life it would be the ability to see yourself as we see you now---every day--Your beauty.  Your kindness.  How happy you make us and how proud.  May all 59 of your birthday wishes come true."

Happy Birthday Kathy

Twist and Pop Flip Out cards---workshop

This one is 4"x 6"  Mine

Marilyns From Graphic 45 By the Sea It measured 5"x6"

This one was Susan's-- from Botanical Tea. and this one measured
6x6.
Twyla made this adorable out of this world twist and pop 5.5" x4.25 " She used specialty papers and Lawn Fawn Stamps. The stamp she used on the front of the card is from Stampin Up.

This is Twyla's workshop card created from the STUNNING papers and elements that are in "Bloom and Grow"

This card was created by Kathy and is from the Graphic 45 Well Groomed collection

And this one is by Gin, and she used the "Alice's Tea Party" collection for her card.
Aren't the little cards on the pop out the cutest!

Above is Kathy's workshop card--created with  Garden Goddess
And Below is Sue P's Wonderful card created with Fairie  Wings . Sue squared up the vertical pop out designs by edging them with paper lace and created her card with a horizontal orientation..

And there you have the creations and the examples created by members of the
Sun City Papers 'N Pisels  paper crafting club at the first SIG of summer.

THE ITTY BITTY You see you  do not have to make these  pop outs great big.  This one is created with SU DP and a stick-on butterfly and hearts.  AND this one is created from a Gemini CRAFTERS COMPANION DIE called Exploding Box Twist and pop Mechanism ...(It contains dies for the whole thing---7 pieces, including the frames and the mechanism and the base!)

And Here at the end is the card that started everything.  This technique and twist and pop out cards have been around for a DECADE or more, with each crafter who posts a new video sharing something that makes this fold easier and the mechanism for popping and twisting work more smoothly.  This card uses a series of VERY OLD Penny Black drawings that are just so cute.  They are colored with Prismacolor Pencils. The background paper, I made in Photoshop, and mounted the elements on black card base. It measures 5x5" x 4.25" it is embellished with gold sticker strips (from Pop Up etc) and with gold embossed a sentiment strip..   The little booklet on the  top of the card opens to a stamped "You're HOW Old" image (SU)
It was  The 83rd Birthday card for Roger

Graphic45---Wild and Free Cards for June

The G45 June Card Kit came today and immediately I was "on it"---so fun and so soft and pretty.  It will compliment some other wild animal themed kits from years past. But for today, the uniquely soft "Wild and Free" and the clever (tuck under) opening designs were right up my alley. This card is embellished with Nuvo clear accent "drops". Prismacolor Pencils were used on the line-art parts of the monkeys in the wonderful papers .  The stamps included with the Card kit are also finished with colored Pencils, and small philodendron leaves are extracted and fussy cut and touched with droplets from scraps left over from "Card #1" scraps..  The trifold cards are inspired by Anna Sigga and the also taken from sketches by Graphic 45 design team. The basic design instructions are from the Graphic 45 June Card Kit u-tube online tutorials. The inks are Graphic 45 ink (Peachy Pink) that shipped with this Card Kit.

Folio Birthday Project

This folio was inspired by Graphic 45 paper crafters tutorials and features inserts, pages, and tags for many pictures.  (I have not put the "photo" mat in on top of the designer paper but almost every area has a place to put a picture.)    This little folio measures 5x7" and is done with Graphic 45's  Flutter and Faerie Wings papers.  The folio design is called "Loaded Pocket Folio" and was designed by Jenn DuBell
