Having a Blast with little 3x5 tablet folios

Gnomes are from Laurie Furnell Designs on Etsy called "Bumblebee Gnomes".  Designer paper is from Graphic 45's "Let it Bee" collection. And the folio design is by Michelle Allen from a tutorial found on her utube channel A Creative Operation.  The 3x5 tablets are inserted into the pocket on the right inside of each folio.
These folios were inspired by my friend Clareene, and info can also be found on her blogspot
And the project can be seen at A Creative Operation (Michelle Allen)

A note and gift are tucked behind the "Hello Sunshine" clock

Inside contains a plain paper pad and "Hello Sunshine" flat pen.

These are quite quick and very easy to  do and finding perfect embellies is fun.
The tablets are ruled and are 3x5" available at office supply stores and Amazon.
The following measurements and steps are changed a bit from the way you find the
project at Maymay Made It's utube presentation.

 7 3/4”x 8 1/8” cardstock.  With the 7 3/4” at top,
score at 1/2, 3 3/4,  4, 7 1/4. Rotate, score at 5 1/4.

Create pockets:  Fold both 1/2” scores on both sides.
Draw diagonal line from side fold to horizontal score line.
Do not cut into 1/4” vertical lines.  Cut on both lines and snip
off 1/4” piece.  Miter all corners as well as triangle piece.
Glue top 1/2” down on both sides.
Run a line of Cello tape down the back "spine" for strength an durability.
Cut and adhere-- Outside patterned paper:  (Cut 2)  3 1/8” x  5 1/8”.
Cut and adhere --Inside patterned paper:  (Cut 2)  3 1/8” x  5 1/8”.

Fold side tabs in to
form pockets. Carefully fold up matching sides carefully burnish firmly.
Then add glue to the flap and hold in place.
Inside angle corners : pocket matting:  Cut 2   2 7/8” square. Trim to fit corners if necessary.
Decorate the cover  using a sentiment or artpiece that measures  4 7/8” x  2 7/8”
