Gnomies!

These little pillow box treat gnomes contain hershey nuggets and m&m's.  They are created with the Simon Says Stamp "Lil Gnome" dieset. Papers are either printed from my stash or cut from commercial papers. The beards are touched with Shimmer Goodness by TCW.  This little collection is a special order from our recent Craft Fair here in Sun City.

Gnomes are symbols of good luck. Originally they were thought to provide protection, especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground.  They are still used today to watch over crops and livestock, often tucked into the rafters of a bar, or placed in a garden.  My favorite gnomes are gnomes I bought when I was in Sweden.

So CUTE!!!  These little guys Are from the same Simon Says Stamp "lil gnome" die as above,  But are in a surprise pop up window, (dieset  by  Sunny Studio).  The Gnome for the Holidays stamp is from the coordinating stampset found at SSS.  Inside the slide sentiments are SU stamps from "Bright and Beautiful2" and "Tin of Tags". "Warm Winter Wishes--and Mistletoe Kisses" and "Wishing you a bright and beautiful Christmas and a New Year that shines with happiness."The beards on these are done with snow writer heat-puffed pen, and most of them have Wink of Stella or shimmer paste of some kind on them. The straight line color at the base of the window slide is cut from quilling paper..

  1. Gnomes, Gnomes everywhere! So very cute. I'm hoping they are protecting candy goodies inside the packets? Great job! ...
