Journals and Journaling

I love using the Sizzix EH Score Boards XL Journal Die.  This die cuts everything you need for a perfect sized journal album out of chipboard of any weight you choose. Shown here is the one I made using Graphic 45 "Flutter" papers and Tim Holtz large tags for page-pocket inserts. Each group of 3 pages is created from file folders and cardstock and are tied into the spine with elastic cording. Individual pages have pockets and fold out tags, waterfalls and journaling bands.  This Flutter Journal is ribbon tied for closure. Tip---make templates in Photoshop for photo matting and sizes so your recipient will see how their photo would look on the pages in the Journal and know what size to cut their pictures.  These journals are time-consuming, but SO much fun as you watch each page become its own style and its own fun in your book.
