This autumn card was created with the Watercolor Lift technique inspired by Wendy Cranford at Splitcoast Stampers. The stamp is a very old clearstamp that I have, embossed with clear embossing powder. The colors for the watercolor wash are directly stamped from Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves stamppad onto Bienfang watercolor paper (smoother side). The accent paper is Old Olive by SU and the Autumn Frame for the Birthday sticker sentiment is a Spellbinders Decorative Curved Square (S4-525). The Copper foil Starform sticker is from Pop Ups Etc mounted on a "wonky rectangles" cut of the watercolor paper that hasn't been lifted. The card base is lightly burnished with Delicata ink.
I really like this card. What colors did you use?
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue. This is sure a fun technique with stunning results no matter the colors. As I mentioned I used the Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves stamp pad and pressed it directly onto the watercolor paper before brushing it.
