At Joan's Gardens Challenge # 8

This week we are to use a lattice, dry embossing that has been inked, flowers that have been painted and a circle or oval die cut background.  My modified gate-fold card has an oval diecut,  formed with graduated sizes of Spellbinders Labels 20 (S5-026).  The sentiment is cut from a scalloped edge circle. The background is dry embossed with Textured Impressions  Square Lattice burnished with both Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink and  Creamy Carmel dye ink by SU. The medallion is created using Spellbinder's Shapeabilities Fold and  Tuck Die (S5-114)  which is cut from blue vellum, and adhered to a white, burnished background.  The closure is created from punched circles and gold and white Baker's Twine secured with brads.  The edges of the punched flowers are painted with gold acrylic paint. (Hard to see in the picture, because its just on the outside edge. A couple of Recollections rhinestones and some accenting with Platinum Stickles completes this card which was inspired by a demonstration I saw by Lori Spendlove.    The Spellbinders and accent products are all available at Joan's Gardens
