- Create a card with three narrow strips My narrow strips aren't very narrow, the belt, the white polka dot, and the black narrow "ribbon" under the square!
- Use a square Another square on top of the polka dot vellum on the inside will complete the card. It will be a fold open containing the text. If I put it in for the photo, you couldn't tell that the background was vellum polka dots.
- Use only black and white
- Use some polka dots
- Use flowers

At Joan's Gardens Challenge #37
This card is a big-buckle card, where the area that contains the square on the top (and the sentiment when you open the card) is a belt that fits into a punched hole to close the card. I embossed vellum available at At Joan's Garden from the Sweet Stamps product line. The embossing was done with Sizzix Textured Impressions Perfect Polka Dots. The white mulberry paper roses are from I am Roses.com, and the rich silver flowers, which are from PopUps Etc, are first mounted on vellum, then adhered to the cardfront. The flourish edge is an EK edge punch.
