Happy Independence Day, 2020
I made several Independence Day cards using AlteNew's "Land of the Free" stamp and dieset and Taylored Expressions wonderful Stamp and Stencil Combo, "Fireworks Background" This fun project also used Nuvo silver glitter, silver EP, Red Nuvo Glimmer paste, Ranger Blue Embossing Powder, Ranger Moon Dust stickles, SU Real Red and Night of Navy inks, SU Real Red Glitter paper, and various cutouts created in photoshop. All of the cards had different messages inside but all with an all-American flavor.

Happy HAPPY Father's Day Roger Wonderful
Why are there so many
Songs about rainbows
And What's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions
But only illusions
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong--wait and see
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
Who said that every wish
Would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that
and Someone believed it
Look what it's done so far
What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing
And what do we thing we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me.
"Rainbow Connection is a song from the 1979 film "The Muppet Movie", with music and lyrics written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher.
The song was performed by Kermit the Fog in the film.

(Inside sentiment reads)
Here's a rainbow of wishes for you on Father's Day Honey. Do you Realize? YOU are a rainbow in so many people's clouds. You see HOPE at the end of sorrow, JOY at the end of a storm, and
Love at the end of every rainbow. Smile today and enjoy the simple truth that YOU make an awesome difference in so many lives. There is no one I would rather celebrate all the good times with and wether the storms with that YOU sweetheart. To my wonderful Husband
Happy Father's Day
This card is created with Honey Bee Stamps Circle THIN FRAMES (HBDS-CTFR) Heart is a starform sticker, and rainbow is touched with Nuvo Clear glimmer pen for sparkle.

Gecko Roll Up Treat Box
The Belly Band
This Roll up Treat box is especially made for my husband's GREAT Physiotherapist, Steven L, who has helped him so much during the past six weeks. It is created with beige and green cardstock and the 2 sided designer paper is by PhotoPlay and is called "Lizards" (#NAT9672) The little geckos are photoshopped to match the colors and accented with Nuvo Glimmer, Stickles rhinestones and enamel dots. The tutorial for the Roll Up Treat Box can be found at Mixed Up Craft also InReene'sRoom and in my May 28th post here at Priss Papers N Pixels Blog. The project takes quite a bit of 12x12 paper because basic measurement for the boxes is 11 5/8 ---just bigger than regular cardstock. I love the character you get from each Roll Up you create. Fun!

Mini Album
This intricate Mini-Album was designed by Becca Feeken using the Spellbinder's collection of mini-album dies created for "Elegant Mini Albums Made Easy" Tutorial is located in the scrapbook.com classroom. This one is created in white on white and accented with rhinestone border strips. This is a demanding project, not easy, and uses at least 12 sheets of 12x12 paper. Turns out ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Dies are intricate and of good quality and very versatile. Cost of dies alone is upwards of $75.00 at this time, so it is wonderful that they are versatile and can be used in dozens of applications and projects other than a mini-album.. Dies held up well through at least 100 cuts.
Wedding card for the new Mr. and Mrs Swope
This card is created with Spellbinders Dream Catcher die called Inspire (IN-055) It is cut from glossy paper and embellished with the rainbow in rhinestones. The mat is printed from My Clipart Store on Esty named Paper Tribal. The paper is printed with ink the color of "peacock feathers" distress oxide ink (Hexa is 01A3B0) The inside message is the beautiful Apache Wedding Blessing:
"Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness,
for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons,
but there is only one life before you.
May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead
and through all the years.
May happiness be your companion
and your days together be good and long upon the earth."

Roll Up Treat Boxes
These rollup boxes are so much fun to make. They take quite a lot of 12x12 paper, but the end result is a very unique roll up box for trinkets, gifts or treats.

Tag Card--Happy Birthday Betsy
This cute tagbook pop-up card was created with Karen Burniston's Tag book kit (#1023) Her creative kits have so many ideas packed in, and her assembly tutorials make these cards that look so complex, really easy.
On this card I also used the "You are on my Mind" stamp from Technique Tuesday's "Iris" stampset, the inside sentiment reads "Every now and then life needs to be turned upside down to get back to the right way up." This is from Ranger Stamps Dylusions called "Clearly Quotes". I used a clip art owl, sticker fleur-di-lis, hearts from the tagpopup 17 piece dieset, little birds from SU Thoughtful Branches. Flowers are made from punched or fussy cut paper; one flower is created out of three ladybugs. The glitter gel dots are on the tag holes (rather than ribbon) and and sending a hug is from a 15 year old mini stampset that came with some card kit from Annie's Attic. The basic cardstock is SU So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake. Ciao is a SU stamp from the stampset Ciao Baby and is stamped in distress oxide. The DP from the last sheet of a paper pack that has long since lost its cover. That's the nice thing about this particular tag-card, you can use scraps and waste almost no paper at all. No assembly notes--this goes together easily folds flat for mailing and if you join (with the provided hinge dies) several of these tag books together you have a great mini album with nice size framed image areas for pictures. I am closing this one with a tiny decorative clothes pin.
