This card was so much fun to do for DGD who celebrates the ah! so AWESOME Birthday SWEET 16. Now she will be eligible to obtain her learner's permit to drive. This is always such a big day with a teen anywhere!
So this card was created in her favorite colors for this momentous occasion. The matt is a gorgeous foil from Recollections in silver and gold. On top is a shimmer white die cut from the Spellbinder's Gold Majesty Circles die-set. The happy little new driver is a graphic by Sassy Design Studios. She's colored with pencils, copics, and Wink of Stella Silver, and accented with green rhinestone hubcaps and silver sequin headlights. The inside of the card congratulates her and asks three things--that she always wear a seatbelt, always have her phone in the back seat with her purse, and that as she puts her hands on the wheel, every time, every trip, no matter how long or short that she asks the Lord to sit beside her and guide her safely to her destination.

Tagging--at Papers 'n Pixels
Our PnP Club made some stunning Christmas Tags at the make-it-and-take-it workshop I led yesterday. We used Tim Holtz "Tattered Poinsettias" dies and Spellbinders "Layered Poinsettias" cut from musical notepaper designed by Karen Schulz at Snickerdoodledesigns by Karen. as well as cut from designer paper, solid cardstock, coffee filters, and parchment. Some of the tags were laid onto Recollections Musical paper tags, and other on papers of the member's choice. The members were delighted with their projects, and they were gorgeous!

Very Special Christmas Wishes
Beautiful Christmas wishes from the most amazing creation came from my BFF Traci who sent me this stunning card. This card was created from elements, papers, and embellishments created by the UK company HunkyDory. The photo doesn't begin to highlight the rich detail of this lovely card. Thank you Traci.
Very Special Christmas Wishes
Very special Christmas Wishes came in my mail today from clear across the Atlantic! This card was created by Tracy Wray who is a UK crafter and cyber pal I've known for several years now. Her website is Crafty Cat. Tracy's cards combine machine stitching, distressing, inking and die cutting, copic coloring and detailed inserts and just the most gorgeous papers. She is CT for a couple of European designers, and her work always leaves me just breathless. Thank you Tracy for this wonderful, wonderful card.
I am pretty sure that the paper she used for this kit was designed by Michelle Roo, She'll tell me who the graphic artist was for the sweet little angel.
