At Joan's Gardens Challenge #40

This soft ice blue card is created with the exquisite DS0908 Marianne Designables embossing and cutting folder. I have removed the center section of detail and backed the snowflake blue paper with white glitter paper. This beautiful die cutter/embosser stencil is available At Joan's Gardens, and mine has just arrived this week.  The flowers are created out of lightly inked vellum I got At Joan's Gardens--perfect weight!  The ink I used  on the flowers was  Tim Holz Broken China distress ink. They're cut with Tim Holz Alterations die from Sizzix #657824.  The sentiment is vinyl lettering available at pop-ups etc. Sheer ice blue organza ribbon finishes the cardfront.

These two cards are just embossing and foils...a wonderful combination sometimes.  The embossing folders are Cuttlebug's Snowflakes (large) available at Joan's Gardens  The Christmas Tree is a Crafts-Too embossing folder "Swirl Christmas Tree."  The stars and word sentiments are from pop-ups etc.

This card came out so well, it is so delicate when the poinsettia is worked with parchment papers.  I burnished the  parchment with red distressing in after cutting: (Fire Brick color),  used the amazing Marianne Designs Die and stencil #DS0912, pop-ups etc sentiment, and holographic glitter flourishes, and a star gel pen. The poinsettia is Spelbinders S5-055 Layered Poinsettia.  The dies are all available at Joan's Gardens---that's where I got them!

 The card below is the same poinsettia die with red paper and burnished vellum leaves.  The embossing folder is Cuttlebug's Musical Flourish, and the rhinestone flourishes are by Recollections (Michaels)

This cute card is created with Romantic Rectangles (Spellbinders S5-090). They are available at Joan's Gardens.  The sentiment is cut from a label punch from  Stampin Up and is a digital stamp sized the way I wanted it for this card. The little Elf has accents of Ranger's Stickles (diamond and platinum) and a pom pom on his hat.  He's cut from a scalloped edge circular die, and is a digi-stamp called "Stocking Noah" created by Wendy Hall at. Digital Delights by Louby Lou.  Wendy is a friend of mine offering expert help in using her adorable digistamps for scrapbooking and card making. Papers are by Recollections (Michaels)

This card is created with a "top note" die (Stampin Up) cut from silver glitter paper, and  embossed with Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder.  The medallion is die cut from Nesting Scallops by Lifestyle Crafts, and burnished with Distressing Ink (Spruce). The digi stamp is by Mo Manning of the Santa Mouse.  (Note:  terms of use for that designer states that you may NOT digitally color her work, so I am not using her products anymore and am not including a link to her product line.)  This cute digistamp is colored with Copics.  Similar dies and the distressing inks are all available from At Joan's Gardens

This little Elf Christmas Card is created with C&K paper, machine stitched open zig-zag machine stitching on mat trimmed with scallop trimmer edge.  The little Elf is designed by pheemcfaddell who designs children's coloring pages, and is digitally colored in Photoshop.  The frame around him is by a different designer, also digitally colored,  but I have lost the name of that digistamp artist.   The die I used for the center is Spellbinders Labels 17, available from AtJoan'sGardens.com

The challenge this week is to create a holiday card.  
This card is created with a spellbinder's fold and tuck Die, S5-114, with Memory Box dies for the drop ornament # 98378 and the La Rue Ornament filigree #98377.  These products are available through At Joan's Gardens.  The "Merry Christmas" Sentiment is from Pop Ups Etc.  The matting is shiny silver foil, unembossed, and the ribbon is 1/4 inch wired twist. The foil is reflecting my workspace!

This card is made with leaf border designed by Pam Lefors, a little door created by Karen Schulz, and an Autumn stamp also created by Pam Lefors.  The Autumn stamp is diecut and shaped with Spellbinders Nested Leaves (S4-321)  available at Joan's Gardens. When you open the little door to Autumn, there are two leaves that are the veins only and one diecut and embossed leaf from the Nested Leaves collection. The sentiment stamp is by Stampin Up. The card is highlighted with gold pen detail.

The window in this was created with Cheery Lynn Designs Frame Die  Frame #141 "Window A".  The window is backed with acrylic so it looks like glass, and placed over decorative paper stamped with leaves. (Do not know the name of  of the clearstamp designer--it's one of those you pick up in a barrel for $1.00! Also on the stamped leaves (Kaleidacolor Desert Heat ink) are transparent  tiny gold edged transparent leaves and acorns. Those and the borders are from pop-ups etc. and are part of the autumn sticker collections. The card is burnished with Walnut Stain distressing ink and edges are also touched with gold foiler pen.

Geo-die

This holiday card is made with holographic paper, a side ribbon, and the Cuttlebug Holly embossing folder (used with Sizzix diffusers) and burnished with Distressing ink (Spruce).  The cut fold tuck die is Spellbinders S5-114.  Sentiment and stars are from pop-ups etc.
