Priscilla's Poinsettias

How crazy I am with this adorable Poinsettia Priscilla.  This little namesake is carrying pink Poinsettias, and she's gray haired--like the Priscilla who colored her with Prismacolor Pencils.  Her ribbons are finished with 3d Crystal Glaze, (and are reflecting the light in the picture below) The distress edged oval artpiece is first perforated, then cut, then distressed and then edged with sparkly snow writer paint. She is mounted on a letter-pressed embossed and sparkle spritzed cardstock (Holly Swirls Sizzix# 657139) in Sweet Sugarplum paper and ink.  The Merry Christmas stamp is by Tim Holtz in the set Christmas Time (CMS141)  Her hair is touched with a Tosca Silver pen.  Her fur collar is created with Glistening Snow Writer (Deco Arts)
This is one of MirAn's newest designs and she was created for the Anything Goes Challenge # 70

Aurora Wings_Girl with floating hair

This card was created with Prismacolor pencilled "Girl with Floating Hair, Gardenias and Butterflies"
She was created for the Challenge #38 Anything Goes Blog Challenge at Aurora Wings  The card is graceful and delicate pierced edging on the artpiece over lavender textured paper.  That is mounted on offset diamond glitter paper.  All the small blossoms are "colored" with diamond stickles, and final touches with Wink of Stella, and lavender rhinestones complete the square 5x5 card.

I wish the photograph could share the glitter and glisten of this delicate card (my third entry) in the  October Anything Goes by Mitzi Challenge!  This will be a get well (with butterflies of hope) card for a friend.

Tim Holtz Woodlands

These  Tim Holtz Sizzix 660978 dies are absolutely beautiful and limitless in the possibilities! Here are some cards I've started using these dies and some specialty and regular papers by  SU, some holographic paper, foiled cardstock by DCWV and stickers from Pop Ups Etc.  The Sentiment is from the gorgeous Hot off the Press Half and Half Snowflakes collection.  I can't wait to see where these dies take me.

Pivot Twist Pop Ups

These cards are SO much fun to make and can be adapted to smaller sizes easily.  Following tutorials found on the internet, I've made one for the Aurora  Wings Challenge this month and others for fun below using Karen Schulz Trick or Treat and  Autumn Sunset kits.

Aurora Wings_Daisy Elf

This side fold card is Mitzi Sato-Wiuff's adorable Daisy Elf. The thinking about you embossed black sentiment is by Lawn  Fawn in the Scripty Sayings set. Wink of stella on the wings touches off this pretty graphic.  My Prismacolor Pencilled Daisy Elf is on a sunflower!  Hearts and tiny butterflies are strickers, and the artpiece is diecut with the pierced frame mat set by Spellbinders.  I created this for the  Anything Goes Challenge #38 at Aurora Wings.

Aurora Wings Anything Goes

Love this gate-fold card with SU DP.  For this card I used Aurora Wings adorable little Halloween Witch Kitty and posted it for the Challenge 38 "Anything Goes" Blog challenge The prismacolor pencilled graphic was photographed, and then worked onto papers created my Michelle R;  the bats are by Panos in his "Spooky 2016" collection, all held closed with Jolee's Dimensional stickers "gitter spiders".   Inside the is the artpiece is finished with stickles, Wink of Stella, and a word art strip in Halloween Spider font.

Delightful Fall

Delightful autumn  and delightful Fun with Tim Holtz Birches Texture fades Embossing folder (Sizzix 661405) using a letterpress and stamping on the folder technique inspired by Sandi MacIver.  The little ferns are from a Gina K stampset, and the folder was brayer-inked with Crumb Cake (SU).   The celebrate die cut is from the Avery Elle Sentimental Dies set.  The green accent paper is DP from SU.  The accents are little birds from SU Thoughtful Branches, a sticker sentiment for Happy Birthday on the card with the Trina Walker Adorable celebrating pumpkin. (He'll probably be landing in a bunch of leaves when I get them created!)  The precious fairy is called  Autumn Enchantment by The Paper Shelter.  Printed and pencilled too, wioth stickles, like the little pumpkin.

A Twist on the Holidays

For the Technique  Spotlight at Splitcoast Stampers, I followed the tutorial by  Dawn Olchefske for a Gate  Fold Twist Card.  I used SU DP "This Christmas Specialty" and Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, and Emerald Envy papers and inks.  The card is VERY small, but will fit folded into an A2 envelope where the other twist fold I made would not unless one side was folded in.

Tree Line

This is one of the beautiful Tim Holtz  Thinlits in the Tree Line die set (661064) cutting green holographic paper and inset into a distress inked brushed sky touched with Marvy heat set Snow Marker snowflakes.   The circular sentiment is heat embossed from Simon Says Stamps and Circular Die Set--Circle Sayings (SSS101551) The star over red holographic paper is an outline sticker from pop-ups etc.

Papers and Pixels---October meeting

On the 20th of October I'll be demo-ing and sharing techniques for coloring with pencils with the crafters of the Sun City Papers N Pixels  Club.  AND we'll talk about coloring with colored pencils using  my favorite---Prismacolors.  We'll also experiment with  using watercolor pencils, and  work chalk/pastel sticks.

This card below will be one I'll demonstrate with colored watercolor pencils and is an Art Impressions "Try Fold" card called Autumn stamped on Bienfang watercolor paper in Archival "Staz On" ink.  On this card I used Fantasia, Lyra, Staedtler and Crayola watercolor pencils.

Other techniques I'll be sharing will be how to color skin, fabric, hair, with Prismacolor (or other standard colored)  pencils as members create Holiday or Autumn cards.

Christmas Side Spring Card

This fancy fold Side Spring card was inspired by Sandi MacIver's tutorial on National CardMaking Day 2016.  The trees are from the  Tim Holtz  Tree Line (CM5244) Stampset, stamped in Emerald Envy and heat embossed with white, sparkle and clear EP.  The Merry Christmas Sentiment is from the "Noel" stampset.  The inside sentiment,  stamped in Real Red is a Penny Black 2010 stamp called the gift of peace.   The dies I used for the artpiece are Spellbinders Lapbels 27  (S4-376)  What a fun card to make, and how beautiful and unique the folds.
