This card uses the same Hello You dieset to create "Thank you" , and SU  DP, cardstock. and ribbons  The diecut is embossed with clear fine detail embossing powder.   Teeny Tiny  Wishes "thank you" is stamped in Versamark on the Crushed curry cardstock artipiece in the center.

Sky's the Limit

This card was inspired by Sandi MacIver in her Sky-is-the-Limit UTube  Sponging Technique Video.
For this card I used the SU Sale-a-Bration Sky's the Limit stampset, and created the clouds and masks from the cloud stamp that is in the SU stampset Balloon Celebration.  They are sponged with Memento Summer Sky. The paper is SU Pacific Point and the Happy Birthday pop-up is die-cut from the Curved Happy Birthday by Memory Box (#99285). Inside sentiment stamped is "The Sky is the Limit" and the card is designed for an 11 year old grand-nephew.  Thank you Sandi, again for the wonderful tutorial and technique spotlight this week.

These one uses the Brush stroke stamp from SU Works of Art stampset and hearts from Embosslits  and from the Cascading hearts die.
.

This one uses white embossing powder, and masked sponging, adhered to a piece of a map and black matting embossed with arrows EF (SU).  Inside has a map mat for the inside sentiment.
Stampset is SU's Sky's the Limit (as above)

Romanza ---Aurora Wings, Mitsy Sato-Wiuff

This gorgeous butterfly Goddess was drawn by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff who called her the Romanza Figure.  She is colored in Prismacolor pencils, and finished with Stickles, Wink of  Stella,  Gellyroll Clear Star pen, and Posco white paint dots.  I will have this piece framed and give it to a very special butterfly lover for her birthday.  The piece is about 7"x 9" and will be framed about 8 x 10.

When I studied the Monarch Butterfly to learn its delicate coloring, I found out that one of this butterfly's favorite flowers is the Bee Balm  which blooms scarlet to bright red.  They will also seek out milkweed where they will lay their eggs, and those blossoms are white to purple (and vary.)

Sympathy

This sympathy card uses a flourish die  that was given to me and silk ribbon flowers.  The sympathy stamp is from SU Thoughts and Prayers, and the  edge lattice is from the Distressed Windham set (Designer Craft Dies 30041) Paper is Bermuda Bay (SU)

Botanical Tea_ File Folder Tag Album

I used papers in the  Graphic 45 Botanical Tea collection, with accent papers coordinating by SU.  Edge die stack is   Spellbinder's S5-180, accented with pearls, Wink of Stella and burnished with blue and pink inks.  Butterflies are Les Papillons 2 by  Spellbinders (S4-390).  All edges burnished with Distress inks, and matted designer paper on all the folds. The chipboard tag is from the Botanical Tea Collection by Graphic 45.

There are four inside pages:  Below are the back two.   The "thinking of you edge" is from  is an Impresson Obsession die (DIE 235-M)available at  Simon Says Stamps. The gilded rose is a watercolor project and is a Gina K. Designs stamp.  The Butterfly on the left is part of the Les Papillion set, used on the front, and cut of the same color paper as the top matte but brushed heavily with white Wink of Stella.  Both mattes are embossed with Intricate Swirls by Paper Studio. Tags are from the Graphic 45 collection. The corner design is a Fiskars corner punch.

These are the front two pages.  These are not quite complete.  Watercolor and distress ink roses are embossed with gold SU EP, line detail is a sticker, the  Mava stamp embossed in Glacier Ice  EP reads:  "Life is pure adventure, and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as Art." (Maya Angelou.)   This cutout is accented with Wink of Stella and 3d Crystal Glaze edged butterflies from the SU embosslits Butterfly set.  Again the tags and backing are from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper stamp and die collection.

My friend and I will be teaching this technique, suggested by AJ Otto at Splitcoast Stampers in her Accordion File Folder tutorial in our next meeting of the Sun City Papers 'N Pixels Club.   This is the front of her Accordion  File Folder Tag Album. She used fussycut graphics and papers from various Digital Scrapbooking Kits.  See her amazing paper projects In Reene's Room

Here are some of our Papers 'N Pixels members starting their tag albums at the 1/21 meeting.
They had a blast with this project, and looked forward to putting the finishing touches on them at home.

Here's our Member, Betsy, with the stunning Anniversary gift she made for friends.

Birthday Greetings

This card was inspired by  one of Sandi MacIver's Stampin Up  Birthday Blooms projects that you can see on her site: Stamping and Blogging. For my card I used watercolor paper and Chameleon Pens for the flower which is a stamp from Hero Arts "Tea Flowers" stampset.  The same stamp is used all over the background which is  SU Very Vanilla cardstock.  The ovals are cut from Lil Inker's Stitched Mats dies.  Birthday wishes sentiment is from Gina K. Designs "Frame N Flowers" Stamp TV stampset embossed in gold SU EP.
The butterflies are cut from Spellbinders S4-315 Les Papillions 2. They are touched with black (and gold) Wink of Stella.  This is for a special friend's birthday later this month.  Thank you for the inspiration Sandi!
