Purple Moments

The challenge this week At Joan's Gardens is a purple, white and green card, with leaf background,  purple flowers, and a sentiment.  This card uses vellum flowers cut out of Spellbinders beautiful dimensional  Embosabilities Folder E3D-03  Delightful Daisies pressed with my E-Bosser. A purple flower from my stash forms the center of the vellum daisy. The centers, brushed with both Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Victorian Velvet) and purple chalk, are then touched with liquid pearls (Ranger platinum pearls) The leaf background is a cascade of autumn leaves that are embossed with Sweet Stamps Embossing Powder (Fine Detail  White).   I then watercolor-washed over the embossing with Distress ink by Tim Holtz.   Silk leaves were living at the bottom of my flower canister and some purple rhinestones finish this. The purple base cardstock and sentiment are by SU.   Most of these products came from At Joan's Gardens.

Boy are you quick, I was hoping to be done early this week, then as I was going to start my card, my husband comes home from work and tells me he needs a card for tomorrow, for one of the guys at work that is retiring, nothing like waiting till the last minute, guess I get it from him!!! Have a wonderful weekend.
