At Joan's Gardens Challenge #4

This heritage challenge card is created with a brush in Photoshop and elements and decorations added graphically from Debb Cozzi's Artisan's Guild Kit "You Matter to Me."  I worked this card in a cameo-coral and champagne color scheme. The photo center is a Photoshop brush on matte paper and is heavily spritzed with champagne color spritzer (Tushinko). The woman could be my mother's twin, so this is a little more meaningful to me than just a vintage photo I found. The coral paper is inked with Ranger Distress inks and embossed with Vintage Wallpaper, a Sizzix embossing folder.  Behind that is a border of organza ribbon over inked and scored border.  The flourishes are stamped with a grey and overstamped with a coral ink, and are cut from diecuts S2-010 Spellbinder's Fantastic Flourish available at Joan's Gardens. These are accented with rhinestones cut from a Recollections (Michaels) flourish pack.  The inside sentiment reads Keep your faith in beautiful things: in the sun when it is hidden,  in the spring when it is gone.  The stamp is from Faith in Nature by SU, as is the little tag that says Happy Day.  They roses are coral tipped and came from I Am Roses.com. I am going to punch teeny butterflies from the coral paper and may add a few scattered over the card.

  1. Very beautiful vintage card. Thinking in the future of buying that same Spellbinder die since it is so elegant.
